I was excited to see Eden get a run in firsts when I seen him in the trial against cowboys this year what a dude he turned out to be

Wasn't he also in trouble at a nightclub in Fortitude Valley at one point?

Opacic won Rookie of the year.. why would be struggle to make the team or why have him so far down the pecking order?

I think in the scheme of things, Tom wouldn't have been first choice even if he manages to get fit for our trials. Mead and Roberts on the right, Kahu and Oates on the left.

I think Tom will be next cab off the rank for a centre position unless Moga ( if he signs ) or Pangai have a massive pre season. Bennett likes Toms attitude, he puts in the extra effort Wayne likes and he didn't disgrace himself for us even though he played most of his games for us busted. We should also remember Roberts has to get himself right off the pitch. Tom has played most of his football at right center anyway so he could just drop in there too. If Moga does sign, along with Pangai it gives us some great depth in the backline next season. Its a nice problem for Bennett to have.

I hope he doesn't bring those sorts of troubles to our club he can leave it out the cowboys and have a fresh start at the Broncos

Just because he won rookie of the year doesn't mean that he has cemented a permanent spot. If someone is playing well, he might just have to wait for his shot.

Moga and Pangai have been signed to second tier contracts because that is all they're worth, to say that they will pushing for a first grade spot is a bit optimistic despite Opa's injuries. This time last year, many were saying that Carlin Anderson would be a regular first grader in 2016 which was just as ridiculous. Pangai and Moga played a total of one NRL game between them in 2016, it will likely be one less in 2017.

I reckon they will be pushing for first grade and they will play at least more than one game between them next year.

I think Wayne can get them playing well.

How do you know they are on 2nd tier contracts, is there a list of our top 25 for 2017 somewhere?
