Boyd is obviously not pulling his weight. Hopefully he fixes this in coming weeks.

The concern is how quick last two game the opposition first and second tries. I still think there is lack of leadership in playing group.

Yep. We have clocked off at the 60th minute mark for years and no-one seems to care. The difference in other years was we had usually scored 20-30 points by then...

WTF is up with Kahu? Doesn't get the conversion off in time to send us to the semi final in the Auckland 9s then touches the ball within the 10 and thinks he's scored a try. That penalty changed the momentum big time. You know you're a laughing stock when Gould, Johns & Fitler (the dumbest people on our planet) make fun of you.

If Kahu had not made that blunder, we probably would have ground out another win . It was a very tough contest and a big effort in defence . There was no lack of effort from anyone .

We all hate to see them loose but I think what is really peeving most of us off is how disjointed and unorganised our attack is. I think what is becoming clear is that Milford and Hunt are ijust not organisers . Both are more just instinctive ball runners . I just don't quite see how we can fix our attack at the moment with Milford at six. I am not convinced either Boyd or Benji at six is the solution either , but it might be worth a try. Hoping WB will really analyse this deficiency and come up with somtihing very soon.

The other issue is the lack of offloads in the forwards. There actually does not seem to be any expectancy among the players that anyone is even going to try and offload. We absolutely need offloads to get anywhere in this comp.

I may be wrong but kahu's brain snap where he picked up that short drop out, I thought I heard he ref say play on before he did it?

You're confusing confidence with desperation.

He got extremely lucky on both counts at a crucial stage in the game. In those close games, that's all it can take.

I get what you're saying. You're missing a massive component of the opposite argument.

It shouldn't have been close. We should have flogged them. But, we can't close out games. Not even against the worst teams in the comp apparently.

I'm getting sick of excuses. Attack will come good, Milf needs time, Hunt needs time, it's only round X, it was wet.

It's the Brisbane Broncos. The shit they are pulling this year, and last, I'd not acceptable based in the jersey they are wearing.

They played like absolute shit for an hour.

have you heard of slapstick humour?? obviously not

As @Socnorb mentioned, you are aware slapstick is when you LITERALLY hit other people or things for laughs right? Your joke was in pretty poor taste after all the media rubbish in recent weeks.

That was a bloody disgrace of a game, pull your god dam heads out guys and play some bloody football. It's like they are are all playing individually, no team structure at all.

I really hope this all turns around and soon but fucken hell, it's not looking bloody likely, no urgency, shithouse performance.

There are some worrying signs for us in attack. Our defence seems good - we're working for each other mostly (Milford and Thaiday don't work well together - Thaiday and Milford are both lazy defenders, and are both playing overweight)

The real problem is our attack and the teams seemingly unwanting desire to win. There doesn't seem to be a rudder out there and no one wants to put their hand up and take ownership. That in turn makes it look like we don't want to win. It's very concerning for mine. I hope we can fix it quickly.

I remember a club in 2013 or 2014 that had good defence but rubbish attack (St George). They didn't make the eight.

Wayne needs to man up and ring Kev and get his ass down to training

Still can't attack.

The dropout rule is kinda dumb though, theres no way that ball is going 10, why does everyone have to wait around for it to stop dead before we can move on?

Milford was trash again last night, very concerning.

Yeah it's a stupid rule, the team receiving the ball should be allowed to get the ball if it hasn't passed the 10 metres (but still be onside from when the kick takes place), not that it's an excuse for last nights effort, across the board plenty not to like.
