I suppose nobody should be shocked by Bennett's behaviour. Disappointed yes....surprised no. After all, the man is the clinical definition of a narcissist.

Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.

Blaming and vilifying the press does not and will not change who the man is. The man is a good manager of players but he is also in today's game a poor tactician and does indeed have an inflated sense of importance and as far as I am concerned should be shown the door pronto.

Seibold seems like a really angry fella. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but I don't think publicly calling out Wayne is a good idea.

Is he cracking under pressure? NRL coaching is the hottest seat in the game and he seems to be taking it badly.

Seibold just needs to cop it on the chin and show up to work like any other individual.
I could be wrong but isnt he still being paid by souths??? Until that changes he is still an employee and is required to do his job.
He signed a contract for 2020 so he should be preparing for 2020. If bennett is playing games in the background then so be it but he is actually also contracted for 2019 to us. seibold should know better, especially in the ego centric world of rugby league these days.
If wayne does leave well then seibold can get on the plane.
This garbage about hurting his kids - fairdinkum... they live in a nice home, they get fed every day etc etc.. there are families out there in a far worst position than this fella..
One last rant - he talk about recruitment etc and wayne getting involved, i can guarantee you that seibold was part of the McGuire exit so he cant have a crack and not be part of the same shit himself.

I'm waiting for the e-mails and text messages from WB to be made public and should they confirm WB lied I think WB should be held accountable. I mean Siebold and the gang have got the proof I suppose, after all there's a lot of words reported so no doubt they've got him, dead to rights. I can guarantee you he was part of the moose decision.
I agree on the poor look, we sort of have grown to expect the ducks and drakes from bennett (childish as it is) however white and morris have been shown to be miserable leaders when most required.
I have never been a big fan of white, and i dont know much about morris but he looks like a guy to me who has an agenda to take the top job.

I know both Wayne and Seibs have contracts with their respective clubs for 2019, but I just feel all this drama and uncertainty (yes much of it media-driven) could have been avoided if Paul White and Karl Morris sat down with Wayne after he signed with Souths (and Seibs signed with us) and said look, you have brought this club to where it is today, all the success, the premierships etc, but we want to head in a new direction from 2019. Pay the man what he was due for 2019, let him sign-off on whatever narrative he thought best, and have at least some skerrick of an amicable parting of ways.

Now it just comes across as a toxic relationship breakdown and all manner of people are being dragged down by it too. Almost like a bitter custody dispute and the players/support staff of both teams are like children being pulled from both sides.

Ok, granted, I am probably being over-dramatic with my post/thoughts/analogy, but god almighty I just wonder what, if any, effect it will have on 2019. It is certainly not a good look and does not shine a positive light on our club; particularly the leadership, in my opinion. It just seem very unprofessional and surely you would not see many large, successful corporations in the business world conducting their affairs in public like this.

No , it's been stated seibold wanted 3 to 4 players moved on. People who think it's not happening both ways are just 1 eyed.

Wayne has had his time, it is now time for the board to do what is best for the Brisbane Broncosm, and move him on.
We have gone backwards since 2015 - even the biggest of Wayne supporters cannot argue with that.
This needs to end before it derails 2019.
As Bennett has told many of his players, and also the fans, no one is bigger then the Broncos.

That is a pretty damning email with a lot of internal confidential information in it.

I think it may be getting to the point where the NRL should be pulling the two CEO's in and telling them to get their house in order.

With all the leaking of sensitive information it's clear they are either losing control of their staff or they have been involved in the leaks themselves.

FWIW WB calling up players that aren't under him and telling them they're not in his plans is completely unprofessional. If he wants a say in their future then he should sign the contract and tell them from Sydney.

That’s not fair, he is pissed off because Wayne is fucking everyone around and making his life pretty fucking shit. He currently can’t coach the club he is at because Wayne has told Souths repeatedly he is coming so Seibold has been removed from all discussions and decisions. He has told his family twice that they are moving and then that they are not. These are kids, they have school and friendships, this isn’t fair and it is nothing to do coaching.

The one i read had real had quotes, but it was pretty vague, basically not even naming the journalist, just he told Newscorp. I'll wait and see what actually comes out of Seibolds mouth.
