Broncos Player Movement and Rumours 2020

That would be a good get for Souffs. I feel like Chrichton could be the first real miss the Roosters have made in years. He's been very disappointing for his $1M salary. You'd expect even the Roosters will lose a player or 2 due to him, and it would be a big blow if it is Latrell.

I'd definitely chase him over Jimmy, but Wayne might feel closer to Roberts.

So rabbits could potentially have Roberts and latrell. The nsw centre pairing. How is that possible financially?

I'm not cherry picking, you are! All the "outside factors" you mentioned happened AFTER he got them to 12TH already. How is that cherry picking when you brought up the "outside factors"? You have picked the most favourable obstacles to him achieving his goal, despite the time line being contradictory to it even existing yet. That is the definition of cherry picking lol...

Also cherry picking, using 7 games as a justification for sacking a coach (rather than 4 years) ... Also cherry picking, allowing a coach 5 years or 4 years to win anything yet not giving the next coach 1 year... You're giving 1 set of rules for Bennett and another set of rules for seibold
His first year he had a shit team, the next year he finally got to train that shit team with a few players he brought in and got them to one win away from the grand final and his final year was hampered by every bit of bullshit under the sun.

I'll respond to your first post.
He wasn't asked to build the club from the ground up. He was asked to make them better and deliver a premiership. He did one of those.
Bennett and Seibolds first 7 games aren't comparable at all. For the most part we have been terrible this year and have gone significantly backwards. Seibold is copping criticism because things look worse than they were when we were promised, by the club and by the media, growth. We already did the go backwards to go forward thing and fans are frustrated. Especially when there's still bullshit one sided articles coming out trying to frame Bennett as the bad guy.

As a fan the entire year is important. I don't want to come tenth. If coming 8th means we win two more games wouldn't you prefer that? 7 teams in the top 8 are making up the numbers, I'd rather be one of them than one of the other 8 who miss out altogether. Teams don't have to be ready for a premiership, hence why the betting at the beginning of the year tends to be wrong. It's actually pretty random, so almost any team could take it out any year.

In conclusion, you sound like one of those bitter Knights fans who thinks Bennett destroyed the club when it barely had anything to do with him. You can't scream repetitiveness if you're just going to repeat a fallacy created by bitter Knights fans as well. That's hypocritical.

Hahahaha you can't seriously be that biased that you don't see the irony here? Seriously? So Bennett can claim he was given a bad team (remember media was claiming they would win a premiership that year just like they did for us this year??) yet seibold has 7 games to prove you wrong?
Your whole argument is "bennett has excuses but seibold doesn't", I don't think what Bennett did at Newcastle was as shocking as the media make out, NO WAY. But the hipocrisy by people on here when they bag seibold when there are multiple examples of Bennett being in the same, or worse, predicament is embarrassing. People are so keen to be proven right they haven't even waited for an outcome, 7 fucking games is not an outcome, it's a process. We have 18 year old in the middle 3rd playing 70 to 80 minutes, we have a shit spine that was left to us and signed long term that he needs to give a chance to improve.. 100% we would have got better results with bennett these first 7 games then what seibold has got, NO ONE IS DENYING THAT, but ffs even the most 1 Eyed anti-seibold person can see he is putting structures in place still, will they bring us a premiership, who fucking knows after 7 games! And you can't be serious, are you claiming you have been happy as a broncos fan with finishing 2-6 every year and miserablely failing in the finals every year. We aren't the tigers or the eels. We win premierships, it's the exact reason Griffin got sacked as well. He got 1 game away from a grand final remember.... And wtf what the media say have to do with anything, I don't write it, of course they write puff pieces about the broncos, it sells papers and they own the bloody club lol. What's that got to do with how long you give seibold? Are you incapable of forming an opinion without their input? No! Or does seibold write the articles? No. It's completely irrelevant. And any team can win the premiership? Really? Want to make $20 dissappear? Put it on the titans to win the premiership. That will test your theory! There are about 4 teams that can win the premiership every year...

And BTW, responding to a comment is not hypocritical. An example of being hypocritical would be holding someone to standards you yourself cannot meet. Or in this case we will substitute seibold 2019 for someone else, and Bennett 2012, 2014, 1999 for you... Or if you whinge if seibold doesn't win a premiership for 3 years it'd be seibold (someone else) and Bennett 1988-1991 or Bennett 2015-2018 (you) ...

If you don't like seibold that's fine, criticise what he is doing. His tactics, his retention, his game plan, be constructive with it because its boring week after week. There's 5 years to go.. It's just the fact that you, and many others, are holding seibold up to standards using a 7 game sample size that if we held Bennett up to the same standards for that sample size at points in his career he wouldn't be a coach anymore.

Bennett's a Broncos legend, it's sad the way he departed the club, but it's done and dusted now, I see no point in dwelling on it. I'd have happily had him see out his contract, but I'm equally excited at the prospect of what Seibold can do with our bunch of lads.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Seibold exerts his influence on the club. It's still far too early to be making any judgements on his ability. The decision made by the club was with a view to the long term. I think we all need to have a bit of patience and give him some time to implement his style and philosophy amongst the playing group.

I hope the Broncos make a play for Latrell Mitchell. I'd offer him the fullback position at the Broncos. He's always been a fullback coming through the grades, so I think he would certainly want to play there again sometime in his career. I think most of the other clubs that are chasing him view him as a left centre, so the promise of playing fullback could be something that would beat all the other offers out there.

Hmm, that would be interesting. I remember reading we went after him before he made his debut.
I'd definitely like to have him. He's a massive douche, but just like Hodges, these players become "our" douches. His talent is unbelievable too, and he'll keep getting better.

Yeah I agree, he carries on a bit sometimes, but I think that will sort itself out as he gets older. He has a presence about him that I think our team could do with. He still hasn't reached his peak yet and he is probably the most damaging outside back in the game right now. I have no doubt that he would become the best fullback in the game if he played there again on a permanent basis. I think he would do particularly well at fullback in a Seibold style team.

Shutout to Dobbo who actually got a scoop spot on. He got the rumour first and got it completely accurate, said Kodi had played his last game for the Broncos and would be at the Warriors within a fortnight.

He just moved above Mole & Slothfield tier journalists in terms of scoops.

Mitchell would have to close to the most expensive/valuable player Atm .

I cant see the Roosters letting him go but it is hard to see how they afford this squad considering their TPA's are pretty low.

Maybe, but I wouldn't say it's concrete yet.

Yeah but it's in the mixer and ready to be dumped. Kodi is history and despite being his biggest critic in the past, I am sorry to see him depart. I felt he was turning the corner in some regards albeit a very gradual turn.

So is there still a rat releasing this info to the media?

Yeah same. I wonder if the Roberts rumour is true then. Think they will both take there till.
