Secondrower from my understanding, I'm sure someone like 1910 and Big Pete can probably fill you in more.

Pride is another one of Seibold's boys isn't he? Melbourne U20's player @Big Pete (I think you mentioned this at some point)

If Oates ends up out with gastro, I'd say the best option is Farnworth to left wing and Coates to bench. Let's hope Kennedy can back up past weeks performance as he seems to be our only bench middle forward. Isn't bullemor and edge forward? Probably could have used Hoppa in the middle rotation subbing in as loci with Carrigan moving to prop. Haas is in for 80mins I reckon. Also don't judge Souths on last week. Bennett prob hooked latrell to keep him fresh and firing for us. He will have a plan to dismantle our defensive line through Cody Walker again.

Don’t a few posters here have concerns about Hopoate playing on an edge?

You think what happened with Walker last time was planned?

I personally do. Watch him at Reddy very regularly and he has never been anywhere near as effective on the edge as he is playing lock. They had him playing there last year, it didnt really work so they moved him back.

Souths very well might beat us, and it may very well be due to Bennett’s superior coaching but nothing in the past decade suggests that Bennett specifically plans tactics for the teams he’s opposing.

I’m a Bennett fanboy but I don’t think I’ve ever seen him have a tactic based on an opposition team. His coaching does not seen to focus too much on the opposition.

Not me. His defence might well be exactly what we need on the edge and he can offload, perhaps as well as TPJ if not better, and he doesn't seem to be dumb .. yet. I'm looking forward to him out there. For mine, Carrigan stays at lock although I accept the "fluidity" of forward positioning during a game.

Or it could be the fact we're missing 4 of our starting 17 already. TPJ, Glenn, Bird, Lodge.
I should have quoted the posts I was referring to that suggested Bennett would target certain weaknesses in our defence.

I’m also a fan of Seibold, my post wasn’t about who is the better coach.

This is not a game to be optimistic about with our outages . Just gotta hope the Bunnies bring their B game.

Am I the only one who couldn't care less about this game atm?

It's just too chaotic elsewhere to care about the outcome of this game.

I'm almost certain this game will be canned before Thursday anyway.

I'm tipping us to shake them up. We beat the cows in the first half by grunt, we can def out grunt the souths pack. If we hadn't taken the pedal off the gas and got complacent we would have put high 30+ on them.

No reason Turps and Croft cant match Reynold and Cook in strategy. The danger will be when they are on our line and 40m out with cook sneaking around.
