My picks. Brad Thorn, Craig Fitzgibbon or the Walker Brothers. Don’t really want the walker brothers, but at least we would be entertaining

We’ve had Henjak, Griffin and now Seibold. The common theme among all of them, is they’ve had f*ck all NRL coaching experience between them.

Maybe it’s time we got an experienced NRL coach, besides Wayne?

Agree with the OP, coach is the issue, I don't think we have a team of q cup players, the issue is they are so poorly coached and have no real idea of what their roles are they just look as much.

Give us a decent coach and you would have the same players putting in much improved efforts. At least Walters would make them understand what it means to play for Brisbane, Seibold never played a meaningful game for us - wasn't good enough as a player, not good enough as a coach.
repeating for this weeks effort.

stay tuned for next weeks! just imagine gordie gloating after the titans beat us.

Not so sure is going to matter really. I’d rather get in a coach that can bring a hard edge and winning mentality. Plus they actually need to be able to create structures and a game plan.

It’s funny, I reckon if you did a poll the fans got everything they asked for apart from Darius being dropped.

The majority wanted Wayne out
The majority wanted Seibold as coach
The majority wanted Kniko, Macca, Moose, Kahu, and Roberts gone.
The majority wanted Thaiday and Gillo to retire.
The majority were stoked to get Croft, the halfback we never had.

I’m not sure what my point is. It’s just funny.
Never wanted Wayne gone.
Seibold was the second option after Bellamy, better than Kevvie on credentials but no proven record.
Never wanted Kniko gone, was neutral on Moose.
Thaiday was shit, Gillo was broken.
Croft is way too early to tell, we have spent the last 3 games in our own half of the field, we're losing every game in the ruck and in the forwards. He's got potential to improve.

I do want Milford gone.
I definitely want Boyd gone.
I absolutely want Seibold gone.
Oates should not be re-signed.
TPJ to get a significantly lower contract with bonuses for playing over 18 games a year.
Sign a 9 for god sake.
Try to sell off Offa to another club.

Hodges and Parker co-coaches. I dig it.
That would be my solution. Give them till the end of the season and see how it goes. Bet neither of them would pick Milf or Boyd.
Also Eddie Jones is looking to coach in the NRL. Maybe Cam Smith. Could do a lot worse.
Whats clear is that the players are not playing for Seibold.

The point is that Wayne was right and everyone else was wrong.

geez i like the idea of Thorn as coach but he's not covering himself in glory at the reds either and he'd been given a fair amount of leeway.

I think he has done a decent job with what he has to work with. Tough job there.

I’m worried that after the last 4 games and poor performances he still shows no emotion in the coaches box when they pan to him after a knock on, penalty, try against us etc. I get that he is trying to copy the cool nothing phases me personality but i dont think he has earnt that the way someone like Bennett did, show some frustration and emotion Show that you care, give us something...

yeah i'd much rather him be blowing up deluxe like o'brien was rather than the 1000 yard stare. maybe he was thinking **** who's gonna hire me after i get sacked?

Can they risk another rookie nrl coach? (And i love Thorn)

Who is available that is experienced? Would Brian Smith be available? He won't deliver a premiership but he knows how to take a side almost there.
