We aren’t getting Hodgson so only thing I’d change is that I really want Lachlan Coote. Your probably thinking I’m crazy but I really want him for some reason.

I think if we can get Gagai, capewell. Su’A and Coote all coming, if we give Finucane a 600k offer to be a leader, starter and get paid well in a team that’s rising up big time next year, it’ll almost be to good to pass up

I meant more that even if that spine managed to happen, I don’t see it winning a premiership, or being a contender

He's most definitely probably washed up by now. But his experience would be good, he was a very good fullback so he could impart some knowledge on cobbo and Niu. Id sign him
 
What conspiracy do we want to pick today for TPJ?

TITANS: CONEHEAD got no joy with spruiking Thaiday & Gillett in order to get them to the Titans. They managed to land Fifita, but on unprecedented overs. Is he going the opposite this time, talking TPJ down, making him a tainted signing so no other club wants him, so he can "break bread" with him and the Titans sign him on the cheap?

ROOSTERS: TPJ was certainly going to the Tigers. Until he wasn't. Now talk of a bunch of other clubs. Is this all a smokescreen for the Roosters to use Cordner's $2.5 million a year to sign TPJ for $150k, and make it look like it wasn't a deliberate move?
 
According to Dobbo as of this morning:
- Capewell is coming for 2022
- Turpin will be the 9 next year
- Staggs will be the 6 next year
- Still not sure on who will be the 1 moving forward, potentially Niu
- Oates to be back in the side next week along with Staggs

To be honest who cares mate. It was our choice to walk away from TPJ so whether he turns up at the Storm for 100k p.a or the Dogs for $1M or anything in between good luck to him.

The Broncos decided to move on from him so what does it matter how it plays out with the other clubs?

At best it might cause enough distraction so we can sneak in some cheapie depth signings under the radar.

Surely Staggs will the 6 this year at some point - early on I would imagine?

It matters because if he goes to the Roosters for $10, we have to pay the remaining $649990.

I think @Wolfie, @Big Pete and @1910 have all mentioned him in dispatches at one time or another. I recall them also mentioning a couple of forwards too who were solid and dependable (Grant perhaps was one?)

Hopefully that is worst case scenario...

Fullback is such a weakness if Niu doesn't suddenly become a top 10 NRL fullback in a short period of time.

Grade B+ halfback
Grade D fullback
Grade C hooker
Unknown quantity 5/8th

Did you really just rate Adam Reynolds a grade b halfback? He is one of the best halves in the world
 
Api Koroisau off contract at the Panthers at the end of next year.

They have upped the deals for the likes of Luai, JFH, Chrichton, Yeo and will no doubt have to do similar for Martin, Kikau, To'o etc so he could be a chance to move clubs...

I did yeah, i didn't think B+ was a derogatory score and it is where i rate him.

A standard would be Cleary or Hughes and Keary if he wanted to play 7. I personally rate Reynolds just behind them, hence my mark.
