Absolutely it was, yet you keep insisting Herbie should have been racking them up weekly. Our team sucked, nobody was scoring tries.

Let’s look at the top scoring wingers

5. Garrick (Manly)

10. To’o (Panthers)

Not a single player from any club other than the ones mentioned above, featured in the top 10 most try assists. All are fullbacks and halves. Milford is the first broncos to appear on the try assist list at 37 (9 TAs).

Blaming Oates not finding the line last year on Farnworth is pretty ridiculous.

What? This is so stupid. Oates generally cuts back in, he did it several times on the weekend when in space. He will only get taken out when trying to score a try, and he normally gets the pill down first.

Notice all of Oates scoring plays don't involve Herbie? Both this year have been a pass from Capewell, and a kick from Alby cutting out Herb.

Olam had 10 and Melbourne scored 151 tries
Herbie had 7 and Brisbane only scored 77 tries
Both played more games in the season than Herbie

Fans just love to get behind a particular player and ride him to the death because they finally get their "I told you so" moment when he has a bad game.

However, this isn't the week to ride Herbie into the ground, he was the best player on the ground for us against the Bulldogs. Saved at least 1 try with his defense, scored 2, ran for 200+ metres.. this is the week when you pretend like you never said anything bad about him. Maybe he has a bad game against the Cows, that'd be a good time to get back on that anti-Herbie bandwagon.
