Way too good. Dearden or Robson aren't denied in that late bit of the first half I think we kick on. Disappointed with the forward rotation. Thought Walters outcoached Payten with how they used the benches. Walsh was the difference. Bad matchup against our dogshit right hand defence. Got to be fixed.

Thought we had our chances but just didn't take them. Credit to the Broncs
Drinkwater getting sent to the bin made a big difference .
Cowboys got fatigued and couldn`t recover . And WTF did Petr Hikau think he was up to channelling his inner JWH ?? LOL .

I agree some of it is fucked. But I don't remember a time where people are ever really happy. Especially in rugby league. What makes the game so hard to administrate, officiate etc. So many different agendas pulling from different areas. Listen to gould atm when it comes to suspensions. Some of the commentary is embarrassing. He thinks you should be able to murder someone before you get suspended
agreed but you gottta admit though with my suggestion even though yes it can open another can of worms of issues one thing it will fix is bias and agendas. No one can argue if its clear as day what the rules are.

Do a hip drop and break a blokes leg and he misses 12 weeks well sorry your gone for 12 weeks.
Try a big shot on someone with your shoulder but you hit there head and there gone for 8 weeks well sorry 8 weeks for you.

Will it always be Fair? probably not. And will it mean some big name stars miss weeks for a brain fart? yes.

But at least it kills any bias and agenda and every single person knows its the rules like it or not.

It's a little bit like the obstruction rule.
Is it a fucked rule sometimes and it can deny fair try like it did the broncos tonight ? yes. but at least now they are consistent with it because its black and white. and even though it sucks at least fans are a bit more accepting of it. they are still pissed in the heat of the moment but not nearly as much as they would be when there seems to be bias and agendas at play.

Agree. I can't keep up with the MRP. How do they judge injuries these days? I assume its the same. I cant remember the last case. Carrigan probably got extra because of hastings leg last year That was one I remember
Yet on that same weekend someone put Will Kennedy out for 6 weeks with the exact same tackle and didn't even get a week from the MRP. Total lottery.

Drinkwater could get 0 weeks or 8, who knows with those MRP clowns.

Billy's first stint was all about defence. This is what paix probably could not handle. Take the pressure of the start off and he looks so much better.herbie still does not pass the ball no matter what. Next year I think we will would be better with combo at left centre and Arthur's on the right wing. Yes aray didn't have a great night but he steadied that young team down enough to do what was needed to win. I thought ketone was good in defense tonight. No dough who was man of the match. If Reece can stay on the field this year he will certainly be pushing for the dally m. All in all it was a great team effort from 1 to 17 to get it done tonight.

Walsh absolutely immense.

Reynolds, one of his worst ever games. Needs to be better next week. Pass kicking duties to Herbie or Walsh.

Staggs, **** me this **** is lazy. Release him.
Positive on Reynolds though is our 6 and 1 could get us the points tonight, we didn't need Reno to be playing good to get us home.

Worst part about Staggs is were loosing Herbie and keeping him.

I think we might be better off splitting reyno & Walsh for a while on opposite sides, let reyno work on the right, he had them singing last year, and leave Walsh & Mam to the left.

Hiku shits me at times. He was so good last year though. Been around a long time. Legs must be getting heavy.

The speed of Walsh, Mam and Herbie will tear teams apart this year on the left. Oates is a big loss as he's another threatening option with a long ball and he attracts players when running a inside line like the Herbie no try.
Once the right clicks like last year we will be hard to stop on both sides of the field.

Mentality I guess I can agree, but they are completely different players otherwise, Thurston is and always has been a proper 7, Mam is just a natural 6 and ticks all the boxes you want from a natural 6 looking for the run and has insane athletic ability like a fullback, I'm not sure what I would compare him to tbh.

He just looks like the textbook 6, like Munster but in his own individual way that said he still far from being the carry the whole team on his back and make something himself like him but given he is still 2 years younger then what Munster was when he made his debut he is in a very good trajectory.

I’ve been saying it for some time, I definitely see quite a bit of JT in Mam too.

Home from the game and watching the replay and the Cowboys have turned into a bunch of grubs. It’s pretty disgusting tbh.

I feel like we have always had a healthy respect for each other but that is all gone. That hit was atrocious from Drinkwater and neither him or any Cowboy gave a shit that Oates was fucked.

Todd Payten has turned that team into a bunch of grubs. Whoever said in the live chat that he is a gun has to be kidding themselves. Not only has he coached the players to be dirty he was completely out coached by Walters, a guy that (unfairly) gets shit put on him non-stop.

Grub team doing grub things, **** the dogs.

That said I laugh when the NSWRL dogs think souths vs rorters is a bigger rivalry, this is the the number 1 rivalry in the game the crowd attendance says everything.
