Who ran from dummy half on the right side and actually linked with a team mate to create a try during that period ?
Cptn / Coach Reynolds ...

It`s like once Billy runs he can`t see his team mates any more . Often runs away from his supports . Truly baffles me he hasn`t got better awareness . And ability to be creative from DH . It`s not as if he started playing Rugba league a cpl of seasons ago like Riki .

Oh and props to Riki . He was more involved did some good things with the ball and hit like a truck in defence . Capwell may be in the Billy / Paix boat . Just no one better to replace him at this time .
But he has only been playing full-time 9 for 1 year.
For a bloke who's only been in the position for a year he's doing alright.

I am a Billy supporter .
Frustrating to see the same plays with no growth but .

Yes. That was the final score, but we were down 16-8 at half time. I would suggest that indicates there was an issue with how we started.

This was also against the dragons. A better team would have punished us more in the first half and not let us back in the match.
maybe flegler starting allowed hass to have a bigger rest which won us the game , you havent a clue how it would havt turned out the other way. what we do know is flegler did his job which eventully allowed hass to do his , that is fact .
people will always think they know better but in the end we one so who fucking cares.

Does the team lift when Paix comes on or not?
To be fair they scored 4 tries in 8 minutes when walters came on... he was only really involved in one of them. All I saw from paix was passes to flat footed forwards and a nice paix like try diving under the line. Would prefer we kept billy. He can kick, tackle and play more than 20 minutes without being gassed.

We had already got on the front foot (after being behind during Billy's stint) when Billy came back on. We scored three quick tries when Payne replaced Palasia. I'm not blaming Billy solely for us trailing each week when he gets replaced, but the correlation is there and the team energy lifts a notch when Paix comes on.

I assume thats the point of our rotation though. Billy takes on all the hard early work, Paix comes on with some energy when everyone is a bit more tired. Seems to be working.

Haas was barely on the field for the first of those tries. You have no idea how a game of football is played. We defended a lot for Billy's first stint, Paix gets to play with bench forwards. Correlation does not imply causation. Prove that Walters is the problem instead of spouting bullshit constantly.

Once Walsh starts lurking a bit more often around BW....... I'm confident BW's half runs will start producing some results.

Nothin wrong with the good old outy inny either .

When Captn Coach Reynolds and assistant coach Walters get together on Mondays surely they must see it and wonder what happens to Billy`s spatial awareness . No ?

I agree, you can see BW has gained some confidence to dart out and look for support on the back of quick meters.
It is a fundamental this season .
Leave at least one tackler on the ground and it`s go time for who ever wants a dummy half run .
The better hookers will even create line breaks from one marker situations !

60min mark looks to be the sweet spot this season to be hunting around the markers.

Its a bit on BW

but its also got to be a bit on the lack of support play as well....yes?

I told him and Kev to work on supporting Billy when he runs back in the preseason . One day they might listen .

Well, we saw what happened when Mam was there to support after a typical Billy circle run. I love how Mam and Walsh are always sniffing around, always pushing up around the ball, it's so, so good to see. We have missed players always backing up, players in motion. Hopefully they will spark others to do it as well.

Anyway I think Billy and Mam and Walsh are building their combinations, both Walsh and Mam have talked about still working on those, so I'll take it as a positive. Billy will look a whole lot better if we can turn his half-breaks into proper ones.

You need a bit of a breather, bud. Getting very emotional for a guy who doesn’t have an emotional bias toward Billy

I didn't see any exclamation points......FWIW

The blokes who started the nepotism calls are acting like they don’t have bias in this situation. That will do me, champ. Not emotional, just easy to call him out for being wrong and not having a good opinion of his own, ever.
