The NRL just keep digging themselves into these massive reactionary holes trying to make the game injury free. It then confuses everybody (even the NRL) to the point where even the NRL can't explain what they mean.

To be even talking about suspensions and even sin bins for those three tackles is just another fucking joke in a long line of fucking jokes.

No

You know full well I didn't mean stay on the wing and never move, full stop.
Well how do you know that charging in wasn't the best way to defend in that game last night

happens both sides of the field if farnworth jams in oates either follows or sits between the winger and center to give him a chance at either sliding to the winger or jaming the center or grabbing the long ball intended for the winger

It's Parramatta's season if it's an 8-12 week injury.
Almost…As in it’s not because of this they won’t make the finals, it’s because they are a shit team. Where you are 💯 correct is they will blame it on this as a “turning point”. They’ve won 3/8 with him, so….
Parras only saving grace is that their next 3 are: Knights, Tits and Faders.

Just have to laugh at Fox and their attempts at clickbait

Anyone who didn't see the game is looking at the photo they've gone with trying to comprehend how that could be anything close to a hip drop... looks more like Haas is side saddling him to the ground.

That would be exhibit A in Haas defence at the judiciary.

He has RCG around the waist and doesn't land on his legs

The charges from a game usually come out pretty quick the next day so we shouldn't have to wait long

Yep, you see Oates and Arthars do it on the other side. It absolutely feels coached to me, and its success is reliant on great scramble/cover defense from the inside men - which itself relies on commitment and belief. And fortunately, this is something we've recently developed.

She's paid to keep the conversation going so will lob out random scenarios. Gloss over it!
Well if that’s what she is paid for I hope it isn’t much. She just asks the same things over and over, rewording slightly. That’s not hard to do and it also isn’t keeping a conversation going.

It’s the equivalent of catching up with a mate and having this conversation.

“How was your week?”
“Yeah it was good mate”

“so the week went by pretty well”
“Yep”

“when reflecting on the week what do you think about it”
“Ummm it was pretty good I guess”

“how would you compare it to other weeks?”
“It was about the same”

“now this week Brandy, it was pretty good wasn’t it?”
“Who’s Brandy?”

That Brendan Hands or whatever his name is was pretty woeful for Parra.

He had a shocking period of play.......1 knock on......5 mins later another knock on.....10 mins later a woeful pass. :rofl

basically defending all three players to some extent, saying that there was no intent from any of them to drop onto the legs, it was accidental at worst etc.

They went hard defending Maam to the point where they changed my perspective on it.
Initially i thought Maams was the worst, but you can see him actively trying to dig his feet in to the ground, and just got dragged by a bigger man and momentum.
Short of letting go of the tackle, there is no way you can foresee that and adjust for it.

What`s wrong with the old school lock your arms and slide down to the calves and pull their ankles together ?
All this BS about what else could they do ? Do what worked in the past .

Yes the tackler may end up on the ground after the tackle . But the argument that , that a hip drop is the only resort is not genuine .

They used to teach you to tackle by hitting round the hips and sliding down which is basically a hip drop tackle now days

Nah . That was lock your arms and slide down the legs .

Leaves you on the ground behind the ball runner . As NRL today is all about exploiting one marker . The hip drop has become a thing . You land with your hips on their legs . Slows down the PTB and gives the hip dropper to get up 1st and get to marker .

Lets be honest.....she just isn't very good......she's never been very good and if it weren't for the Media's/NRL gender equality in the workplace quota to fill......

She'd be TV presenting some random childrens cartoon channel.

It's being reported that RCG will be out for 3 months. Haas is now guaranteed to be suspended for a month.

The NRL will need to blame someone ... I mean there should be no injuries in rugby league, it's not like it is a contact sport played by 120kg men or anything

I’ve never heard two dyed in the wool NSWelshman talk so much sense and support the Broncos for so long ever. Vonnie is the one arguing with them.

These talking heads all have scripts to follow .
The TV director is pulling the strings .

And being caught off his wing all night. Dropping another bomb. I shouldn't have to be the one who points this shit out every week. He had some great runs and those palms were so good, but he's still got the dumb in him.

Edit: Also, out jumped? Only one player attempted to catch that ball.

Agenda much ?? lol .
