POST GAME POST GAME [Round 8, 2023] Broncos vs Eels

He's carrying on with his deluded agenda and refuses to accept he's utterly full of it because admitting he was completely wrong would dent his ego.
Haha deluded is thinking a winger should come off his wing and the coach has told him to do it, or that it's a new thing because it's only been coached to stop Shaun Lane of all people.

So cobbo now needs to stay on his wing all game

But he isn't just coming off his wing to when there's an overlap. It's not the right way to defend because he's just going for that intercept so often.

He's not the worst player in the team and I've copped it for pointing out someone involved in the club and Dean Widders have both spoken about his attitude and where it might land him. It's that there's flaws in his game that he didn't think were issues last year, so he called out his coach on a fucking podcast because he's dumb.

There's a few people that just don't want to hear anything negative about him for some reason, where just pointing out those faults turns someone into a villain. It's crap. I've said it a million times, I hope he pulls his head in and shows improvement on the areas he needs it, but from what I have heard FROM THOSE IN THE KNOW, I am worried he won't. The rest of you can go along blindly, I don't need to tell you what I hear anymore. Just wait for Smokin' Joe to never respond instead.
At least Smokin' Joe has half a clue.

Right, Suggest start watching some games of NRL chief. You might learn a thing or two.

What he did do was dumb, of course it was. However, he's young. You never did anything dumb yourself? The way he's been playing, it doesn't reflect on what he said in the podcast and because of that, I get the sense people have moved towards understanding he made a mistake and shouldn't have said that.

The same way they've changed their mind on Payne Haas despite him seeking a release. He won them over with his performances on the field, Selwyn is doing that too.

A few blokes on here have claimed to have it on good word something is about to happen or not about to happen, then the opposite happens. It's grain of salt stuff.

Just have to laugh at Fox and their attempts at clickbait

Anyone who didn't see the game is looking at the photo they've gone with trying to comprehend how that could be anything close to a hip drop... looks more like Haas is side saddling him to the ground.

Payne's going to get weeks for this simply because of the outcome.

I'm over the "He's young, you never did anything dumb yourself" shit. No, not really. I was young but not stupid. The calling out his coach was dumb, but leaving his teams game because they were getting beaten was low, and then just heading home because he felt like it before our last game was just not good enough. Luckily the club defended him in the media.

His performances haven't been great at all. Good, at best. He's doing everything he can to not challenge kick catches, he's coming off his wing way too often, not just this week against Shaun Lane by the way. He's been fine, but not on Haas's level, who I also don't like as a person but can praise his good performances. But that's not the issue that's worried me. I am worried about how he will grow as a player and hope he realizes what a big deal it is to play NRL footy because I want him to be as good as those people claim he is and only make one mistake a game.

And cool, I'm yet to hear anything wrong from the source by the way. I've even given everyones boy Smokin' Joe the hot tip at one point, to which I was told that he would shoot me a message when he hears anything which is yet to happen. Numerous signings, Smith/Cronk/Yvonne drama from the mouth of Phil Gould, everything to do with Hook because he worked with him for years at pretty much every club, plenty of Seibold stories because everyone in the comp was talking about it. Everyone loved hearing that stuff and was in my DM's asking all about it, but one bad word about Cobbo and here we go.

**** man, if RCG has a fractured hip, i dont know how he walked from the field.
And Haas will get burned if its as bad as this, no way will they let him off light with a season ending injury to the "victim".

We've all got reddit and twitter too... and repeating the same thing over and over again doesn't add weight to your argument, it just makes you look like you don't have any real material to work with. The points above you must have said half a dozen times now.

It's Parramatta's season if it's an 8-12 week injury.

Yep -_-

Could even be hip fracture + groin tear etc.
Poor bloke, that's a brutal outcome from an accident.
The MRC wont see it that way though, they will take the injury into account and we lose Haas till origin, then lose him for Origin as well -_-

Edit: Not worth it. Nobody has to believe me and I don't have to tell anyone anything anymore. Follow blindly you dorks.

Peace

Yeah I saw the ad hominems before the edit - aim higher.
An ad hominem would be myself attacking you instead of the position you are maintaining. That position you are maintaining is that I am lying, which is actually is an attack on myself instead of the position that I am maintaining. That position being that Cobbo has been alright, has a lot to work on and that I am worried about his drive. Therefore you are the one using ad hominem arguments. Good work genius, you just played yourself.
