As long as he’s playing hooker he is. He’s a better 6 than Ezra but displacing Ezra would be disastrous for the team morale and cohesion.

He’s not better than Reyno at 7 imo.

One thing i would say about this move is playing 9 week in week out in the NRL is totally different from what he does in Origin. Still think its a move worth taking on our part.

Lol... all the Shitney media focussed on us looking at Bhunt for 4 months and ignoring titans wanting him for the next 2 years.

I've got no issues if Bhunt stays at dragons for the rest of the year and then goes to titans. I don't think the broncos do either, but if he wants out now, then he's going somewhere and broncos are putting their hand up to see if he wants to come here for 4 months.

Media with all their talk about trades, etc. as well are forgetting that Mozer would actually have a say in a deal like that... and I doubt he's like year ok I'll leg it from broncos to head to dragons for the next 2yrs.

Clubs can't just trade players around with them having no say like US sports... players have to agree and sign the deal for a trade to work.

It was always going to happen. When a NSW team does it, it's business as usual. When a QLD team does it (and the Broncos no less), the shit hits the fan.

He came off the bench at 9 for years at the club.

That was over 10 years ago now. Totally different game compared to today. Even in 2013 he pretty much locked down the 7 shirt. Apart from the odd game he's played 7 pretty much since 2014.

He does it in Origin and he's done a great job there, but thats a totally different style of footy and its 3 games a year. Its not the same as playing it week in week out in the NRL. As i said though, its still a good move for us on a short term basis.

I only want him there for the first 20 minutes and then Hunt takes over for the last 60, a bit like the Hunt/Grant combo for QLD - Hunt isn't the better 9 imo. I also think it will minimise team disunity or whatever.
