On the penalty count, it wasn't as one-sided as it seemed. Weren't two of them for off-side when plays broke down and the ball bobbled between two players? Piakura's being one of them. They were legit penalties that aren't applied discretionally.
It was massively lopsided in their favour, but in fairness to the refs, we did have Thomas Flegler. And just quietly, I thought we might have got lucky with a couple of marginal passes, or at least that's how it looked on TV, which is never reliable.

We'll finish second, I reckon.
I think so too since the Storm couldn’t beat them on Friday.

What is insufferable though will be that the “brave” Panthers winning the minor premiership without Cleary, even though their last 4 games will be against struggling teams when we have to face actual talented teams.

He was also crowing two weeks back that he'd said the Cowboys could win it all before anyone else got on board...
I think we have a to thank Gould for. I'm sure he's comments will be used to fuel us to the premiership!
Call me superstitious or something but I don’t login to this forum when the games live. I will only login once 80min are up.
I have to login an even amount of times during the match...

I didn't think the reffing was too bad.
Im very vocal when the refs are shit but it wasn't too bad yesterday.
It looked hot as hell up there and mistakes happen under that kind of fatigue.

Yep, we were offside too much in the first half. That's usually a sign of fatigue. But we came back and it was the Cowboys who looked more gassed by the end.

It really didn't though. Billy looks busier, and he had a couple of great runs including a try assist, but Tyson might be a quiet achiever. He powers through a massive amount work (45 tackles), seemingly trundling around, but if you notice he's always there at the clutch moments. His passing game is deceptively pinpoint and understated. Which all makes him more suited to starting. At the risk of going down that track again - and this is not even remotely going to happen - but if Tyson can do that for 80 minutes we might even gain from having a different type of back on the bench, maybe even a wildcard utility like Capewell.
Dude, stop trying to subtly put down Walters and claim that we'd be better without him. Walters is a gun 9, and we are lucky to have him!

Tysons passing is good and he works hard but he is nowhere near a first grader starting 9, let alone for 80 mins. He doesn’t bring Billy’s energy, voice, running or creativity. He’s just a solid old school 9. We definitely look less dangerous with Smoothy on over Billy. He doesn’t engage the markers like Billy does.

Can’t believe I thought he was a decent bloke. I’ll say it now - he’s a mercenary only sucking “rooster” for the money.
He’s a flop. He’s always been a wanker. I remember asking him for a photo when I was 20 and he said “can’t you see i’m busy” then proceeds to just stand there and do nothing… meanwhile the rest of the team were awesome and were happy to take photos

Some of the stuff i heard about him years ago just made him out to be such a petty individual, yet on the flip side, i know a wonderful story about him visiting a terminally ill Broncos fan off his own back days before he passed away.

Honestly I would like to see the faces of the so called NRL experts that wrote off the broncos this year saying they won't make the 8 and be in the top 4 I mean we are thriving this year.
