I entered, but I didn't win anything.

I was hoping to either win one of the passes to the season launch or the footy signed by Hancock & Langer.

Reed and Copley had a very good combination in 2011.

They did have a good combo was quite fluent in attack. Copley needs to be in the team although he isnt a star he knows how to cross the line when its there for the taking

If Copley pays well he could make the Queensland team this year. It's the perfect time for him to step up.

I think an Origin spot this year is a bit out of reach, but he will definitely be pushing for a spot in the very near future if he plays well. I've always liked Copley, he has the potential to be a great player. I think he would be good in the centres now that he has bulked up more, give Reed a bit more competition and if he doesn't perform then drop him for Copley.

Remember when BHQ used to call Copley 'Dropley' ? I love how a player can turn things around or at least get on the right track like he had before his injury! Would love to see Maranta do the same thing and I'm sure his new Fan club would as well.

Yeah that's what I won as well. Was a better then 50% chance though seeing as only 17 entries actually made it to the major draw.

that is serious wishful thinking,, considering we dont even know yet if he will be in our run on team come round 1 yet. good luck cracking that qld backline

He could easily play better than Neilson and Chambers and with Gagai having been banned it's definitely not impossible for him to step up and claim an origin birth at all!

Nielsen yes, I think you are asking a lot of Copley to outplay Will Chambers though. His defence isn't the best but other than that he's very impressive.

And if you are talking about for a wing spot rather than a centre spot, you also have to factor in Edrick Lee, who I think in terms of talent is miles ahead of the lot of them.

I think Justin O'Neill is ahead of both of them for the wing spot. He was going to play last year if Boyd didn't recover from an injury.

Copley definitely has Origin potential, but I don't know it would be this year. He would have to be absolutely smashing it to even get a look in.

If memory serves me correctly.. not really.. all I remember from that season was Reed never passing to Copley when he was open, and when he did, Dale dropped it cold.

It is the year they both accomplished most tries in a season to date with reed 12 and Copley 7 I think

That was 2011, and frankly can be attributed to having had Darren Lockyer throwing the final ball down the left hand side as much as anything. Jack Reed threw some really nice offloads for his winger to score, sadly Dale actually dropped one or two of them with the line literally begging. I wouldn't really have said it was an amazing combination or anything, I reckon Reed/Hoffman did better last year and it's nowhere near a Lyon/Wolfman or Midley/Tahu combination.
