2014 Broncos Season

Sorry for being positive about the team I love guys. I'll stop now.

Wingers/Centres daylights ahead of Copley as of right now.

Vidot
Chambers
O'Neill
Edrick Lee
Gagai
Tuquiri

All of these would have to be injured before Copley would be considered IMO.

Tuqiri? What? Haha Joel Reddy is pretty good too hey? Maurice Blair? Steve Michaels? Willie Tonga?

Tuqiri? Seriously? He is average now, probably not even that.

Yeah, sorry mate. You weren't going too bad until you got to Old Man Tuquiri.

Vidot wasn't the best start either.

Copley has the potential to be the next Tate or the next Michaels. I hope it's the former, he was showing some very positive signs before he suffered his injury.

I would like to see what you have seen in him to demonstrate he has that type of class in him. Origin jumpers aren't just handed out willy nilly these days. Maybe back in the day when you were a winger running off a great Broncos back line would you get a chance but the days of great Broncos teams have been gone for 7 years.

He's strong, fast and can break a tackle. Is still very young and judges far better than any of us on here see plenty in him seeing he has been in the emerging origin squad

Changing tact slightly.

Who can give me a bit of info on Nikorima?

I dont know much about him but I will be keeping an eye on him this weekend.

kodi shows promise, however I think that jayden will over take him in the pecking order before to long. Kodi's kicking game needs to improve considerably if he wants to have a really good crack at the top grade. Size is also a concern but he has plenty of ticker which is a quality that most don't have.

Also I find it funny how people are talking up copley as an origin prospect, the guy needs to learn how to catch first. He is a million to one to play origin in his career. Alick & drew will leave copley and that other show pony vidot for dead. I still can't work out the obsession with Vidot, he was ordinary at the raiders and the dragons.

Blistering pace and a knack for finding the try line, 19 year old Kodi Nikorima is one of the most exciting young talents coming through the Brisbane Broncos U/20s team. Originally from Palmerstone North, NZ - the Nikorima family made their way over to Brisbane when Kodi was in his teens where he was identified as a player of talent by the Broncos and represented their primary junior club - the Aspley Devils.

Kodi would go onto make his debut for the Brisbane Broncos NYC team in Round 1 of the 2012 season as an impact player off the bench. While the Broncos had an up and down season, Nikorima showed plenty of promise and was able to secure a starting position by the time the year was out.

With a year of NYC football under his belt, Nikorima wasted little time in making his presence felt as he helped the U/20s orchestrate a dramatic come from behind victory against the Sea Eagles in Round 1. This would stand as his best performance in a Broncos jersey but Nikorima played a vital role in the Broncos quest for a Top 8 birth scoring 14 tries. The season wasn't without it's blemishes though as Nikorima was moved to the fullback position to lighten his defensive workload which was proving a hassle. The move backfired on the Broncos as they lost more games than they won during that period, but they were able to recover when Nikorima was moved back to his favoured position at five eigth.

As recognition for his efforts, Kodi was awarded the U/20s Best Back award at the Brisbane Broncos Annual Awards night.

If origin was locked at one all and the only two players available for the other wing spot was Lote or Copely who would you choose? If you choose Dale Copely then you're a clown. Give me someone who's represented his country in two codes over a muppet who has feet for hands any day of the week.

Copley.

Sounds like you're stuck in the past mate. Welcome to 2014, where Lote Tuqiri is slow and not like he was before his rugby stint and Dale Copley is young, fast giant of a person who can catch a lot better than he used to.

Plus since Mal has banished Gagai from origin at present then Copley is ahead of him too

Copley for sure tuqiri was amazing but he is not even nrl standard now
