Plenty didn't impress during the trials mate, I don't think you can dismiss Nikorima based on a performance where there was very little on offer for him to work with to impress, it contradicts the "it's only a trial" attitude Griffin made about the Warriors game, if it doesn't mean that much why make such a kneejerk reaction? We were given the impression from the get go the club was going to give a youngster a shot in at 5/8th, instead Griffin goes with Hoffman who neither impressed in the nines nor the trial and has shown extensive failure to deliver as a playmaker.

griffin is still trying to find his feet as a coach and still trying to pick the team he wants. that's why everyone will get a run at 5/8th this season. he has a 10 year plan in place.

Yes, yes I do. I've been thinking that for a while. When he played at fullback during games last year he looked the only one who could see the game.

He put in an excellent grubber for a try in 2010 - caught a bad pass low and kicked it in the same motion. As time goes by I wonder more and more whether it was deliberate...
