** If Reed makes the team at left centre, I'd still rather have Copley in the team than not at all. That can either be on the right or left wing, but ideally I'd prefer him at left centre full time.

Who would you have come in if both Copley and Maranta are shown the door?

Whitchurch, opacic or Eden in no particular order. However I can't see Oates being origin ready, and nikorima as fullback if necessary with a veteran reserve grader in Nicholls stepping into the halves.

Also despite not rating him based on his one stint, I can see Boyce coming in before a lot of those green forwards. Wayne seems to rate him.

I'm personally keen on seeing ese'ese and funaki in action at some point, based purely off their junior games. I know first grade is a very different proposition, and not sure if they're even officially signed or trialling, but they excite me.

Good question. I'm not sure but I don't think we will lose Maranta but if we do, I guess Opacic goes to centre and if as expected Oates is in Origin, bring in Eden.

I'd rather keep Maranta and lose Opacic to be honest. I don't really think Opacic will progress to the NRL very well. I see Opacic becoming like a Whitchurch type player. Big wraps as a junior, but never transitions or fulfils their potential in the NRL.

Of course I wish that doesn't happen as I'd love for Opacic and even Whitchurch for that matter, to have a successful NRL career.

No point losing Opacic for the little we are paying him. Keep him for depth. I like the kids De Vere like commitment.
