I keep reading that lock and prop are very much the same, this is right and wrong. A prop we need consistent aggression and impact over a short period of time in hit ups and tackling. Lock plays in the middle but doesn't go all out when it comes hit ups and tackling. A lock plays big minutes because they are the second and third man in on defence and aren't there to stop all momentum. Lock they try to beat defence but using versatility and foot work a lot more, and to mention they have a lot more ball movements example offload.
We are definitely feeling the pinch of letting Caleb Timu go. He could of been a beast of the bench.
The club was happy to release him. That doesn't exactly scream 'feeling the pinch...'We need a good impact forward. Timu just come back after 2 years away from the game. What I seen of him looked fairly good.
