Probably, it isn't certain. Plus, that is most likely two-three years away, effectively another contract for Glenn away. By that stage sure, move on from Glenn. But right now, he is needed.

This. Bennett always wants a mix of old hard heads and young, up and comers in his team. People can carry on as much as they like about the 'prospects' of our junior players, but Bennett has a simple answer for that, one that he has used many times.

'The minute a coach starts listening to the fans, he will become one of them...'

He will do what he thinks is best for the club and won't give a fig what anyone else thinks, as it should be. Based on his historical choices, it won't be a team full of youngsters and inexperience under his watch at Briabane, nor will it be a one off shot at a premiership with a team full of close to retirement age players, who promptly retire shortly thereafter.

However the club proceeds, it will be with one eye on the present and one on the future.

What do you think we are saying. Glenn isn't the only old head in the team ! Bennett knows when to move players on .

Some of you guys put way too much trust and faith in these untested, young, inexperienced 'future superstars', and little recognition or appreciation for the current, established, experienced, NRL quality players within our roster.

Not at all ! we will still have Gillette, and thaiday. Why not bring some young blood in now to learn of these guys . Even oates has played origin and a GF . Why do we need to persist with all these guys when we have talent knocking on the door .

Oates is inexperienced and untested ... maybe not as an NRL player, but definitely as a backrower.

He's tested in big games dosen't matter about position. He is a backrower playing out of position !!!

Your right he is inexperienced as a backrower ... the big difference being he has also being playing in the forwards in a similar type of role. Oates has been playing wing, a completely different position.

Can you stop with they hyperbole in every post? Why are you proclaiming that we're getting rid of "all of our experience", it's one player, and we'll still have Sims, Blair, McGuire & Gillett with him in the starting pack, so much lack of experience..

And to claim that we shouldn't move Oates because it's a hard to transition from wing to back row is complete and utter crap. All it'll take is a few full games there this season and the full off-season training there next year and he'll be good to go. You'd be amazed at how quickly young players can adapt to new roles, I think there's someone in our lineup who played a majority of his first grade at Fullback and transitioned to a Five-Eighth in one off-season..

Bennett does like players like Glenn in the side.

Reliable, consistent and doesn't break the bank. He would also provide experience for the younger crop coming up who are likely going to be getting more game time over the next two years, but won't be taking his spot.

Thaiday will be gone before Glenn is.

It's not distorted, that's how it was uploaded by the official Broncos Twitter, and that's really how fat Sam is. Just compare him to McGuire, who said last week he was 102kg.. Sam must be at least 115-120kg.

well then tested enough to know he needed to be moved from the backrow, otherwise he would still be there now
