Good result for Ghana going into half time 2-0 up.

For most of that first half, they were under the pump then out of nowhere Ayew comes up with two good assists that lead to goals and boom suddenly Ghana are 2-0 up.

Korea started to regain control of possession and had a lot of ball in around Ghana's box, but they just can't create that opportunity to score.

Iran have called for the USA to be kicked out of the World Cup and suspended for 10 games.

This stems from the United States Soccer Federation briefly displaying Iran's national flag on social media without the emblem of the Islamic Republic.

Iran's government accused America of removing the name of God from it's national flag

apparently this was to "support for the women in Iran fighting for basic human rights."

Hours later the normal flag with the emblem had been restored in the Twitter banner and the Facebook and Instagram posts with the altered flag had been removed.

Korea have never scored 3 goals in a WC match, but then again neither had Ghana.

This has been a crazy game. 3 goals in 13 minutes, one team drawing level and the other re-taking the lead.

It's all over!

Ghana somehow survive that wave after wave of attack from Korea and come away with a much needed win. Korea were absolutely peppering Ghana in that final 15 minutes, with some great blocks and a couple of great saves from Zigi, and Ghana survive.

Bento, the Korean coach, shown a red card for absolutely unloading on the ref at full time and just refused to leave.

Korea pay the price for that momentary lapse in concentration from their defenders when Ghana scored that crucial goal to re-take the lead.

Thoroughly entertaining game.

Korea can still make it through, but they have to hope that Uruguay lose to Portugal and they beat Portugal, then it will come down to other results going their way.

Let's say Uruguay loses to Portugal 1-0. They will need to beat Portugal by 1 goal and hope that Uruguay beats Ghana and they only win by 1 goal, then they will get through on away goals. If Uruguay and Ghana draw, Ghana will go through on away goals.

At least I'm pretty sure they're still using away goals to determine the winner when they have the same points and points differential.

A nice cross into the box to Vinicius Jr who had a clear shot at goal real close but couldn't quite get the contact he wanted and Sommer was able to save it.

Seemed to be a rather conservative game from both sides. Brazil are taking control of the game though and you get the sense it won't be long until they score. Switzerland doing well to stay in the contest at the moment, though.
