I actually think it was Jordan Pereira on the wing that galvanised the team that night and when he was dropped it destroyed the morale of the team.
What was our best win of the season Pete?

Same but calling a spade a spade, it's based largely on potential more than performance.

Signed with Melbourne in 2017 when Kevie was coaching Queensland.

I believe Kevie left Melbourne around 2012/13. He linked up with Wayne at Newcastle before they both came to Brisbane together. Don't forget that fans on here thought Kevie was the 2015 mastermind.
Yes, one person. Pushkin I believe the poster’s name was. He doesn’t post around these parts anymore. Even foordy thought Kevin Walters was a dud and had no qualms in vocalizing that he did not want him coaching the broncos. I actually defended kevvie in an argument with him saying the jury is still out on kevvie as catalans was a primarily non- English speaking team, which he disagreed with(wtf). I still think the jury is still out on him. Billy’s involvement at our club is my main criticism of him. I don’t blame billy or hold anything against him either fwiw. If I had spent years eating tofu then one day my dad offered me steak I would take it too.

I’m convinced Foordy is a broncos plant at this point

If you watch our earlier season games I believe there is a stark difference in our momentum when Paix is on the field compared to Turpin or Walters. Still has flaws and goes to slop when he gets gassed but his service at its best os the best of the 3 hookers this season imo.

Billy is the smarter player due to experience and age but Paix needs game time to improve his fitness levels and consistency. I think we have more or less seen Billy’s ceiling which I don’t think is true for Paix.

Regardless, I think they are a fine pairing if you get the rotation correct. An upgrade to either would be great though.

Mozer looked like a fantastic prospect but his form when stepping up a grade resulted in plenty of cause for concern. He may force his way into the squad but I don’t see it happening next season.

Paix is entering his fourth season of ISC and third season of NRL and we are still seeing the same performances and having the same conversations that we saw/had in 2019. An upwards movement last season but still talking about improvement and conditions.

Mozer didn't cause any concern, he played three games off the bench in a terrible team and performed like I would expect an 18-year-old off the bench in a terrible team to perform. The only downer of the season was the injury, and he didn't get 10 games.

65 tackles in three games off the bench and six missed- so physically I thought he handled the load in the middle but he wasn't out there while guys were fresh.

You raise a valid point but I guess the same could be said about Billy’s 8 years of faffin around.

On Mozer, what were you saying about him being in hospital? Was that just a scheduled procedure for the injury?

He kept getting sick and needed a stay in hospital.

I hardly think he’s a plant. He comes more across as the guy who has applied for every single job the broncos have ever advertised, including janitor. And he still never got a second callback.

What`s the update on Mozer going to hospital ?
Was that an out patient visit ?

Our best win of the season imo. Curious if anyone disagrees? It was a team harmony/chemistry thing. we looked like we actually belonged in the top 4. You don’t change a winning formula.
Don't think that was our best win at all. A lot of our tries were pretty flukey, and Parra played pretty bad (they had like a thousand errors). I liked rounds 9 and 10 (souths and Manly) the best. Or even the 2nd half again the Titans :)

Wonder if we give Oloapu the last top 30 spot to end the drama there.

You'd be taking up a spot with a player that you can't play- be a waste.

I don't see why the Broncos can't request an exemption to try and get around that.
