Hence why I asked if the onus was on the defence or the prosecution... I assumed it was on the defence given the MRC is using evidence to come up with the charge, so it should be on the defence to prove the evidence wrong.

The thing of most interest is whether it needs to be unanimous to overturn, but I believe they're meant to deliberate, therefore the verdict should come after a discussion across the panel based on the evidence that has been presented.
