Yes, I don't give a flying **** we need this man in our team, there is a massive difference between him and and a unexperienced half and we have seen it already, it isn't just the plays he does but the off the ball shit that he understands well.I guess this is as good a time as any to raise the question: do we still want to extend Reyno another year or two (2025-2026)?
I'm a little less gung-ho about it after tonight. This is the second time Cleary has got the better of him in a Grand Final, and unfortunately, time is more on Nathan's side.
Even if we do extend him, I think we'll need to have our succession plan in place towards the end of 2024.
Reyno had a bad night but there was some plays he did that where close to nailing it completely that would of changed the game, and you need players like him to even get into the GF, he might not be the best half back but with the rest of our team we are well balanced, he is a critical mature piece of our chess play.
take him for as long as he can handle the game then go for Lam or Walker that is what I see, two players who are growing but you want to let grow a bit till we can get them.
