Tell you what, for the right price TPJ would be the bench option that can cover middle and second row we’ve been looking for.

He would be an unreal buy at $400k if Reyno, Patty, and Payne can keep him in line .

It's not that weird when you consider the competition. Jesse was one of our best in the Grand Final. He did nothing to warrant dropping. Before Oates was injured he was in flying form. Recalled to Origin, and leading try scorer in 2022. Deine will just have to be patient or blow them off the park in trials.

When TPJ understands he is just a cog in the machine that’s when he has done his best work, early days with us and his time at the panthers.

Fair point, but don't forget how 2022 ended. The skepticism was warranted.

We'd gone down in a shower of shit. The admin hit the staff with a broom, which included Kevvie's brother and one of his mates. He was bumbling through interviews with platitudes. His emerging captain had just spent weeks on the sideline for a telegraphed crackdown infringement that reeked of a coaching failure.

And lest we forget he'd been playing his son in every game.

He was on final notice. He would've been sacked had we hit Origin time outside the Eight.

Kevvie had to earn the respect he has now. Whether he deserves all the credit for the transformation or the blame for the season before, the buck stops with him. It cuts both ways.

Would 100% take TPJ back on a small contract, and would allow him to box as much as he wants if he signs on for min wage. Insanely high ceiling, and is besties with Haas.
