2025 Pre-season discussion. Training the house down.

We are somewhat stuck with him by kevs design. It's no coincidence whatsoever he was our only "hooker" not off contract this season. Kev was able to depart while leaving him a small protective dome. Not sure its enough though, he may still be shed.

Stop sucking on the wannabe-journo's coolaid. You really think Kev would risk his far more lucrative coaching career (which also happens to be his dream job for the club he loves) so his son can continue to pocket near-minimum-wage? We've been over this, it's a failed argument.

He already did it lol. Sorry but I can see it quite clearly, he had form for doing it the entire time of his tenure here. "Billy was good too"- in response to our other hooker being given praise, what kind of coach answers that way?. Even if you don't agree, it is in no way a failed argument, there is literally evidence everywhere.

There's evidence everywhere for the Earth being flat and birds not being real. If you look at those things with a predisposition and are happy to throw real evidence and logic out the window.

Hammys only 2-4 week break .
Tearing his bicep off the bone aint gonna happen every season .
He's also got a groin injury that comes and goes at the drop of a hat......

I think billy is our best utility, I’d start mozer and if hunt ends up at 9 at some point I think Billy will have to drop out of the 17.

Tired of the Reynolds always injured comments. He had one iseason (24) where he missed more games than he played. He played 20 in 22 and 23 in 23. He’s hardly worthy of the injury prone tag some on here like to lump him with.

Te Kura is injury prone after just one injury so that is the calibration here .

They're not? I swear there's been this fucking Crow looking at me sideways when I go to get the mail. If Birds aren't real though, how the hell is one looking at me sideways?

I think it's mostly because in the games he plays he tends to get alot of niggles even if he plays them out which puts the injury thought process in your mind more, he is a decently solid player that will play through injury though and still be at a high level.

Not the strongest argument considering the guy just got fired lol

1. Walsh
6. Walters
7. Reynolds
9. Hunt
14. Mozer

Isn't a bad way to start the year with Mam out.
My only concern with this is we’re relying too heavily on Walsh to ball play again and teams knowing Walters will be passing it to him.

You could potentially have Walters and Hunt interchanging and then once Mozer comes on, Hunt goes to 6 and Walters off.

- Payne is back in full training
- Piaks and Hoeter also came back early
- Happy training under Maguire
- Misses Kevvie but can't dwell on it
- Confident in the depth of the pack
- Xman is ready to be a starting prop but still early in preseason
- Riki is back and Patty comes back next week
- We need to be consistent week in, week out
- Need to be tougher mentally
- Hunt is a huge signing for the club and he'll make a huge difference
- Todd Carney came in for some reason and I guess spoke about his own stupidity
- He spoke about understanding it is a privilege to be where they are
- Used to love Carney as a player and cool to have him speak to the team
- Hunt and Reynolds might be old but they have the ability and maturity to steer the team around and allows everyone else to just focus on their role
- Tristan Powell has been impressive, all the train and trials have been good to be honest
- Reece Walsh and Selwyn Cobbo have been lagging behind everyone according to journalist, Payne disagreed
- Happy with how the players have come back and last year will probably help in hindsight
- He just wants to lead by example
- Xman is a professional spewer

Interesting Madge and Todd Carney must have some kind of relationship ....... Carney is the perfect example of how to **** up your promising RL career.
