The Broncos next outside back could come from Coates, Innes and Tonihi. I thought Coates and Tonihi had better Meninga seasons but Innes stepped up to Cup.

At Fullback for your run on debut is massive. He had only played there sparingly in Meninga this year. I thought he was great against the Pride. His first 20 minutes was involved and smart and using his best asset his speed.

Showed the confidence the Broncos have in him.

I’d be giving all three a pre-season.

Haven't seen much of these 3 guys at this stage. What sort of players are they?

We should ask the Dolphins for a Herbie <> Cobbo trade.

One thing Herbie never lacks is attitude.

Well , obviously you didn`t watch the games when he was the worst player on their team .

He came good , but he had a cpl of shockers mid season .

This would be a trade so bad that the native Americans who sold Manhattan for $26 worth of gold coins would look at the Dolphins in judgement.

To be fair to the native americans, it's not like they really had an option to say 'no'.

Extended Walsh to 2029 on the basis of the lead story in today's Sunday Mail saying he's "agreed to terms."

Reporting:

* four-year extension, until the end of 2029.
* $4.4 million - final season to reach $1.2m
* Highest-paid Bronco ever
* shaken hands, but not signed (he's on holidays)
* plan to publicly announce next month

If true, pretty close to market value

The article I can see on Apple News says 5 million over 4 years.

Madge said on the Matty Johns podcast that he would love to coach a player like Walsh and that one of the things he enjoys most about coaching is working with the big personalities like the Walshes and Sam Burgesses of the game.

So our new coach will be happy with this news.

The exact wording, FWIW
"$5 million contract coup for the Broncos"
"four-year extension"
"upgrade is worth $4.4 million"
"final season of the extension to reach $1.2m"

Ok, So that must mean an existing year of his contract has been upgraded.
Hopefully there are so some big 3rd party deals cause that’s a lot of salary cap.
I’d be curious to know who else was offering him that sort of money…

Any team that are genuinely interested in him would be offering that or more.

Rorters would throw that kind of money at him as a Teddy replacement.

Without Reece and Reynolds we were pretty much bottom 4... see origin period this year... and one of them is gone at the end of next year.
