Irony is White will make an appearance now...wonder what he's gonna say!
They do have grounds to sack him, he has been rubbish at his job.
I don't want to see Flanagan within 10 feet of Brisbane.
Is there a reason this hasn't been negotiated and settled before the media becomes involved in the rumours and speculation game? Presumably this should all be confidential until all important detaiks are fixed and then you inform the fans and media?
If that was true, he'd have been sacked 6 weeks ago. They clearly have no leverage to sack him and he has a "really strong contract".They do have grounds to sack him, he has been rubbish at his job.

Good luck taking the legal angle, he can blame it on injuries, players not doing what he tells them, blah blah. He can even re-purpose his 48 hours to release a name legal team.
Somebody buy this man a beerAre you a prick 365 days a year or do you take one day off at some stage?
It's a kid. A knowall but just a kid.Are you a prick 365 days a year or do you take one day off at some stage?
Are you sure about the 153k thing? Where I work that's the bottom tier and there's been quite a few over the years that have successfully been through the process of unfair dismissal. Might be different somehow. That's what they're banking on - that they can sack him. They know that there will be a payout requirement but it won't be full at loading.
This is not a case of buyers remorse, this is a person who was called in to do a job with expectations of results and has not the skills or ability to deliver on that commitment.
There are also special scenarios fair work wise for highly paid employees (>$153K) where you cannot claim wrongful dismissal - depending on any significant contract clauses.
Is this an Anthony thing? Milford gone too?
Wonder what Fifita is thinking now
We actually probably don't want Seibold to take this offer. If he digs his heels in and force the board to pay him out fully, they surely walk out the door with him.
