Man I am thankful for this, it has become obvious Siebs could not return and if he does it is good for nobody. The fact we improved at all with Gentle tacking the lead goes to show he is toxic to the boys. Just did not look comfortable since Covid return and once the players lost faith in him that was that.

Gordo said on Triple M today that Kev has his assistant coaches ready to go, he would not name them that had jobs already in the NRL but Petro was named and from memory so was Hook but they also said Hook could be going to St George as an assistant, so who knows.

I think Kev has to be the pick, we need the old boys on board and getting around the club with a real siege type mentality. Even if Kev does not lead us to glory he just needs to get us back on track and healing. He should not come in until next year to avoid being tarnished with this years stink. Hopefully Coz and Hodgo can play a bigger role in mentoring this team also next year and we can move on from this nightmare of mediocrity.
