Yeah but Mitch just took the brake out of the car and has his foot flat on the accelerator. He has nothing to lose so he has gone all in aggressive and it’s worked. He’s playing wrecklessly cause he has nothing to lose. Don’t think that should be the message of how to get into the test team or we will end up like England with white ball players.

I am just saying, Mitch Marsh appears to have turned a corner meanwhile Cam Green hasn't really made any forward steps with where he is going

Genuine question, do you think Cook was a better batsman than Michael Hussey?

He did score 12,000+ test runs.. almost double the amount that Hussey did.

Edit: before you rant back at me, this post is just to show the issue with using one stat to argue how great a player is.

Eventually he can go do that but I’d love him to focus on red ball and some one day cricket over the next 12 months. You’ve got to remember t20 is where the money is and he will have the 100 and IPL after him with some cash soon.

CA should be telling Green to just focus on long form cricket and possibly 50 over cricket only.

I'm not even sure he's been that good in T20's... can recall him being quite underwhelming for Scorchers ( @Sproj) ... but Warnie loves those "long levers'" so he must be good in short form T20 nothing cricket
