You can't have seen him play too much then.

His kicking game is superior to any of those players.

And IMO ... Hunt, Milford and K. Nikorima are all more off-the-cuff players. While Taylor is more of your traditional, organising, build pressure type of halfback. That would complement your Hunt or Milford type perfectly

Understand he is a more organised structured player but hunt can learn this. Also a kicking game can be learnt. Hopefully he goes to GC and plays in the halves.

For mine it has come down to a decision between jikorima and taylor and If this means we keep jikorima I couldn't be happier

You can't keep them all and I'm very happy with our current halves. The club has every right to hold him here to see out his contract so good on them for doing the right thing by the kid.

If he goes to another club and becomes a super star and our halves struggle to fire, hopefully he'll remember how we treated him and come home :)

I'm such a gossip whore, I see all these deleted and edited posts and just want to know what all the bitching was about!

Good on Wayne for giving the young kid what he obviously deserves, a shot at 1st grade. Hopefully down the track there's an opportunity for him to come back home after a few years of experience is behind him.

Very glad Taylor isnt on his way to Newcastle.. If it was between there and GC then I'm happy he's staying in our back yard.

I really hope that after what DCE did to the Titans, Taylor signs there and brings them success. Elgey and Taylor in the halves do we think?

Elgey and Taylor suits each other a lot more than DCE and Taylor. Only problem is they are both extremely inexperienced.

Man of the match performance from Taylor.

Most of his touches were quality and it was like he was trying to tick off everything a great half needs to do in his try-scoring plays. Great kicks, passes (both long and short) and foot-work. My only complaint is that I think he can get more involved. I really don't like having Berrell play as a ball-playing lock just so that the ball can go right, I'd much rather see Taylor swing over to that side to see what sort of opportunities he can come up with.

Defence was concerning as well. It wasn't quite three tries but two is still pretty concerning although context should be provided on the Stone try since it was coming off a short-kick of by the Tigers when the game was basically over. Hardly heart of the battle stuff. Unsure if he was responsible for the Marshall-King try, the report says he stepped past 4 defenders and I have no idea where that occurred.

I watched Taylor yesterday and by full time I wept knowing he was leaving. Then I watched Ben Hunt and Anthony Milford and I wept no more. Hunt and Milford make plays that Taylor will never be able to do, and Hunt and Milford are only scrapping away at the tip of the iceberg that can be their combination.

He made Luke Brooks look like a good goal line defender. Also missed a tackle and turned to yell at his inside man because it was obviously not his fault. Sorry for pointing out the 3 things that happened right in front of me.
