Auckland 9s Broncos v Bulldogs

Hunt and McCullough played average? Oh god, there's no pleasing some people..

Hunt really has alot to prove this season. With Milford in the pipeline, he's fighting for his first grade life. He better start playing the house down.

copley has to be a starting centre in rnd 1 if you ask me. and no one did.

Don't get the hype about Barba. He did some good things, but he really should have been better considering the kind of player he is. He looked a bit off, like he was lacking fitness and his ankle was still bothering him.

He didn't really do anything until later on in the second half. Although, that could be because he was stuck on the right. He should've been on both sides of the field.

Barba is coming back from injury. let's be patient

We lose, everyone complains. We win, everyone complains. Maybe we should have won by 20? Would that have impressed you guys?

It was his first game back in months and he had surgery in the off season. Give him a break. All things considered, he played really well.

I did, I asked (telepathically) and I wholeheartedly agree. :)

He looks in superb form. No longer a Fail Dropley?

I love those fans that think it's some sort of sin to be critical of the club they support. They make me smile, because clearly anything is good enough for them. The players love them, because ****, they don't even have to win, and they still get praise from their fantastic never critical fans.

Being critical is an understatement on how this forum has been.

Are people seriously having this conversation right now?

Jesus christ, it's the first hit out of the season in a completely foreign format!

This is going to be a loooooooooooooooong season.

Criticism is fine just as speaking of the positives, as long as you present balance which at times both sides are as guilty as each other of not doing so and its getting rather tiresome.

Great try laid on by Tomkins.

I agree there should be constructive criticism but a lot of it on here is destructive criticism
