CRICKET Australia v India Summer

Looks like the ball is 65 overs old already... doing nothing... think I've seen them beat the bat once so far... any edges are just dying instantly
Yep. So you’ve gotta attack the stumps and set the field accordingly

It's crazy because years ago when India first won in Aust after how ever many years, they did it by attacking the stumps... and the poms have started attacking the stumps.

Australia just keep bowling the channel and stay there no matter what.

Hazlewood ends up looking our most dangerous because he gets bounce from his height.

This is just awful bowling. The bowlers were massively let down but the batsmen but this looks like they’ve all just given up. If this continues, I hope there are some changes for the second test but I doubt it regardless of result.

Watch it look like a minefield though when Bumrah bowls again. Australia are really falling apart here.

CA have developed a terrible arrogance. It’s so much harder to get in the team these days too. Way harder to get dropped

They’ve also allowed this current senior playing group to lead a nice, cosy, comfortable existence over the last two and a bit years .. choosing when and how much they train and play and operating just as much as a wellness camp as an elite cricket side..

When these guys shuffle away into retirement in a year or two (they’ll choose when) , surely there’s a hard reset to the way the Australian cricket team operates

Labs added 20kph to his bowling? He used to be around 115, he’s bowling 135 here, that’s faster than late career McGrath.

Crazy to think that two days into the series (2 sessions in if we are being truly honest), Australia look absolutely shot. They look tired, disinterested and unprepared. Its a long series but these are not just bad signs, they are deeply troubling.

Unprepared is probably the correct word... I feel like India got wrecked by NZ because they were looking at this series and thought they could just walk it in for their home series.

Leaving Jadeja and Ashwin out is a big call... they also look like they bat deep because they know their batting has been susceptible.

Australian batters still look miles out of form and still look late on every ball regardless of the pace.

The bowlers can only save them so many times.

Absolutely hope the hard reset happens. They’ve been given far too much leeeway and not really dominated at home like I’d have expected z
