DRS is a joke. Hotspot is inconsistent with what it picks up, Snicko is a guessing game to sync the audio with visual and ball tracker... well don't get me started.

I don't blame the ICB for being vehemently against DRS when it was first introduced. I think the technology is a good thing for the game but this series is raising serious questions about its accuracy and proper use.

I think the rule is that if there is an obvious gap between bat and ball, they check hotspot. If it looks close to hitting the bat then they just skip to ball tracker/snicko.
