Australian tour of India

We shouldn't let the pack of oxygen thieves that call themselves our bowlers back in the country.
clark & johnson should be allowed back in, they've done their job....as for the rest [icon_non

Johnson continues to get hammered by fans and he has easily been our best bowler this series. All we need is a Spinner the fast bowlers are good enough IMO. A great start so far from Katich and Hayden hopefully they can bat for most of the day together.

100 partnership brought up with a 6 from Hayden.

Nice to see Hayden show some application and grind out a halfa. Really for Australia to a) secure a draw and b) get some kind of psychological advantage over India, he needs to go on and get a 200+, and Australia needs to pass the 613.

So Ponting, Clarke and Hussey also need to get amongst the runs, I'd say Ponting and one of the others need a ton.

Gambhir has received a 1 match ban for his wayward elbow.

Sunshine fined 10% of his match fee.

Effigie outlets across India should do well over the weekend.

The only way he seems to get people out though is with wide full half volleys. Granted he's the only one taking wickets but I don't know how he does it.

Hayden and Ponting to both get centuries. 8-)

"There's a swarm of bees flocking across and everyone drops to the ground. Bizarre. Mind your 'beesness', annoying insects. Thats one of the oddest things I've seen on a cricket field. With everyone lying down it resemble as calisthenics lesson. Brave Billy Bowden gets up first, checking to see if the coast is clear, following which the rest slowly start to get up. But not Tendulkar, who has his floppy hat wrapped around his face, smiling. Ai la. But its Ganguly who gets up last, in no apparent hurry."

Dravid gets out a lot to the full wide ball as does Sehwag. The full wide ball is the sucker ball and good on hm for getting wickets with it.

Good fightback from the boys, it's a pretty solid looking card. A couple of quick wickets tomorrow morning and we'll see how psychologically strong the Indians really are. From this point, they will be playing for the draw where there's a tiny chance the Aussies could push for a win.

anybody remember Amazing Adelaide?? A win is a long shot in this game but wouldn't it be wonderful to roll the Indians today and have to chase 150 for victory... Great century from Clarke he rode his luck but still did all the right things for his country..

That win was a day of Warne dominance and one of the most brilliant days of test cricket I have watched, I would love to see it happen but I don't think our bowlers right now have it in them [icon_pray.

Yes I agree we have no Warne and it would be a near impossible to do but anything can happen if the Aussies boys want it enough.. I miss Warney just watching him bowl the straight one for one more over would make me happy!

I miss Warne so much, but as you say we do have a slim hope if the guys get the balls in the right spot early on and cause a collapse. They have to get rid of Gambhir first and foremost he is on fire. It pisses me off that because they can't get an appropriate judge in time he will play in the next match due to him not having his appeal heard in time, f##king BCCI!

Its a tough gig when you cant throw the ball to Warnie to bowl a team out. Australia dont look like getting 20 wickets at the moment the bowling attack is very poor at this time.

Gambhir has lost his appeal and has been suspended from the 4th Test, however, in keeping with the spirit of the game as they always do, the Subbies have "refused to accept the decision" and have sent an objection to the ICC. We all know what's going to happen now.

Banned Gambhir may play: Aussies fear provocation

Perhaps a touch sensationalist as you'd think that even this lot wouldn't be dumb enough to risk throwing away a likely series victory, however you just don't know anymore. They truly are that pathetic. Will be interesting to see what happens this arvo.
