The majority of this forum are so fucking in love with bennett its pathetic. They will deny he would ever do anything bad for the team, but then as soon as he does they say its the best thing for the team. Ridiculous

Boyd is a shit player atm. End of story. Milford is a superstar on the rise. We have seen what he can do at fullback, and seen that it is not as effective at 6.

If you bennett lovers can still argue that Bennett doesnt play favourites after this new info, you are fucking deluded.

So..... this is the roster I'm imaging that Wayne wants to start with next season, maybe a couple of positional changes, I'm not entirely sure how Bennett rates the likes of Reed, Vidot & Kennedy.. we could very well see all of them in the team next year, or none of them.

I clearly stated Milford will be 5/8 so Boyd is the best of the rest by the length of the straight. He is not a great ball player but clearly better than Hoffman. Barba is not safe under the high ball at the back and i assume Boyd is better than Greg Eden

If you know better than Bennett you should have put in your application when Hook was going so badly

Boyd has played user Bennet for years. He'd know exactly what Bennet expects and how his structures are implemented. Having him the team will make the transition a lot easier for Bennet. He will have a spine player that will be able to lead by example and implement his style from day one. His presence will only help the rest of our spine players adjust. Not to mention take a huge weight of expectation and criticism off of Milford's shoulders should the team not perform.

I don't rate Darius and would prefer a world in which he wasn't the est choice but I think he is and those who are only thinking about his individual efforts and by how his signing will effect the whole squad are being short sighted.

You seem to be missing the point tho. Why should milford be 5/8??? his best position is fullback. U dont move milford just coz you have to fit your teat sucking lover boy in the team, but thats exactly what senile old wayne is doing.

If milford is not fullback next year, it will be a fucking crime. He has the potential to be as good as slater / hayne, but if his development is stunted because of a senile old **** needing to play boyd then it will be the biggest mistake. I really hope milford can somehow reneg on his deal because i dont want to see that talent wasted.

i think this is under 6s. Bennett is the coach and his son, darius wants to play. Coach says "ok ill move my best player to fit u in coz ur my son. Now, pop off the teat and put on ur boots"

Like inglis was stunted by winning a dally m at 5/8 and playing for qld/aus at centre ?

The way you are carrying on is like Boyd is the shittest fullback in the comp. He has a Clive Churchill medal and rep jumpers to prove he isn't that bad of a player. And looking at what he has in front of him at the club currently, competition for a fullback spot wouldn't be too hard considering Hoffman can't pass a ball which renders our backline play pretty much useless as it heavily relies on a fullback who can make the right decision to pass, kick or run, Barba cant catch the high ball, **** knows who Eden is, and Hodges clearly hasn't got the defence to match his offence for fullback.

Fairly certain Milford signed on to us under the provision that he would be playing 5/8 which is what he has always wanted to play

Inglis is a supreme athlete and comparing him to inglis is over the top. We have already seen that milford at 6 is just not the same. He doesnt possess the capabilities to play there in first grade. Hell, he even struggled in the U20's origin at 6. Inglis is only just finding his best position now. Imagine if he played fullback his entire career. He would probably be even better.

Ill assume you havent watched many raiders games. Milford needs time and space to do what he does. He is a shadow of himself at 5/8. Moving him is detrimental to both the team and his development. Milford could be the QLD fullback for his entire career once Inglis and Slater move on, but it looks like old wayne is determined to **** that up

What was wrong with Milford's form at 5/8? His defence in the front line was actually better than at FB, and they won three in a row with him there (a first for Sticky?).

LOL. Watch many knights games this year champ? Boyd literally ran away from several bombs because a forward was running through on him. I am not exaggerating. He actually turned and ran from a bomb against the cowboys (i think it was) because gavin cooper was steaming through. At least hoffman puts his body on the line. Even barba does. I would rather sam perrett, or jack wighton, or even mitch moses at fullback over boyd, coz at least they try and put their body on the line. Boyd is a spoilt ****. He has never had to earn his spot since he left the broncos, because he just follows bennett around. Why do you think he does that? Coz he knows he has a fullback spot wherever he goes
