Beale VS Gagai

Before Henjak was punted Kahu was tipped to make his debut in Round 1.

However, Ivan received the punt, Hook installed Gagai and then Kahu received a season ending injury. The rest is history.

He's also another contender, as well as Copley and at the risk of sounding like Elia, Yow Yeh could end up there.

Such a shame he did his knee.

I believe these three players are your future

All three could represent NZ as well :D

Ive got to be honest I hated the idea of Beale being in our centres for game 1 this year, what i had seen of his defence in the past looked terrible. After seeing him at fullback I understood why we are putting so much time in to this guy now. He is still very young and he hasnt figured out how to build on confidence yet. He also doesnt look like he has played a lot of wing and doesnt know how to finish tries yet. Part of what makes a good winger is confidence to make things happen when nothing is on to give a playmaker a kick option when the defence is crowding them. Defence is also a confidence thing, Beale is struggling with this as well.

I think boringly enough as far as development goes Beale and Gagai are at roughly the same level, they both have good attack they both have ordinary defence. Gagai looks like a more natural winger than Beale, but looks like he hasnt got the consistency to be a first grader yet. The question will be will Beale gain in confidence and improve as a winger before Gagai catches up to him with more experience in first grade. If we persist with Beale I think he will repay the team in time.

Epic match from both Reed and Beale.
They are becoming one of the best center/wing combo in the comp.

We get the point ffs.
Your first 14 points have all been a Beale love fest.

FYI, it was Big_Dave being a troll.

Why would you keep making accounts?? Odds are he has a screw loose.

Might be desperate to talk about the Broncos, there isn't any other decent site for Broncos discussion.

I enjoy seeing all the creative names he can come up with LOL.

Pretty sure he is Marshall Magic too...

Gagai has much more natural talent, but Beale is classier and more reliable IMO.

Beale has spent the last 18 months or so working on his speed with his own running coach. The Broncos were originally opposed to an "outsider" coaching one of their players, but they relented and it has done Beale wonders

Beale has more heart than anyone in our backline.
