By the time Bhunt retires that will be another 50 first grade games or so to guys like Walsh (~120), Patty (~150) and Payne (~170).

They need that time to set themselves up as the next leaders of the club.

He's still extremely fit and not having any serious injuries during his career has helped him at the back end of it. And at the Dragons he was left running the show with numpties in the spine with him. He's not going to be doing that here and he's playing with much better players.

Exactly this. Miss Bridget has him on green smoothies and quinoa salads every day, too. Could do with her presence around the boys too, might fix a few of those gunts getting about (Madge's Mt Cootha runs will also help)!

Look at the sheer quality surrounding him here compared to who he had in that Dragons side.
For mine, it just adds another layer of strike, calmness and smarts that oppositions have to game plan for.
