1. Why didn't she make a formal complaint to the police?
2. Why did she choose Danny Weidler to tell her story?

Yep. Without dealing in absolutes, my gut feeling is they're both dodgy and we'll never truly know what happened.

It's got nothing to do with what I think of Boyd or Teo, you are making statements which you can't/won't back up. If you don't want to say the reason say nothing.

And Broncos fullback Norman has used his Facebook page to give his backing to Te'o.

Norman has been cleared by police and after conducting investigations of their own, Brisbane is convinced he has no case to answer.

"I stand by Ben 100%. That's all I have to say on the matter. Not going to answer questions about the incident, looking forward to this week against the doggies," Norman wrote.

He posted Brisbane's official statement, prefaced with: "Before anyone opens their mouth and post or inbox insults or opinions.... read this!!. First and last time this issue is being spoken about on the page.

If this was legit I don't understand why she wouldn't be pressing charges? The cops have also closed the investigation apparently.

My guess is that the police have notified her that they won't be pressing charges and she is unsatisfied with that remedy so has taken into her own hands by going to the media.

Then again, the police assessment was probably: her word versus his, no other evidence, even if we pursue it we're not going to get a conviction.

Resources better spent elsewhere.

Reputations forever sullied for all involved.

Maybe if channel 9 didn't sensationalise the crap out of it there may have been more credibility to the story.
