I've been having a bit of luck with soccer multis. Found a guy on twitter who has pretty good tips. He likes to go the win but I usually go win/draw.

A good guy would post the tips tbh......

Had a nice win on an NHL multi today. Missed 2 multis by the one leg too. Bloody Denver Broncos. I hate them even more now.

Don't mind Fell Swoop to cause a little upset in the Manikato or Japonisme to cause a boilover at long odds. Each way.

Just a little bump from last year after the Melb cup Hopefully this year the system holds up but here it is along with last years system results.

Let's find the Cup winner

After searching back through many articles and statistics for the Melbourne Cup we have discovered this little 'System' which has a pretty good strike rate for selecting the best Melbourne Cup chances each year.

Like anything 'mechanical' the system it is not infallible but in the last 52 years (last 15 years published on Racing and Sports), the System has selected 37 winners (including Delta Blues, Brew and Jeune at great odds) as well as numerous placegetters, some at excellent odds.

The rules are quite simple and have been designed to focus on the best qualified local chances coming into the big race.

Aspro's Melbourne Cup System

Rule 1 List any Cup acceptor placed in either the Caulfield Cup and MacKinnon Stakes
Rule 2 List any Cup acceptor placed 2nd, 3rd or 4th in the Moonee Valley Gold Cup
Rule 3 List any acceptor who was placed 1-2-3 in the Melbourne Cup at their last cup run
Rule 4 List the Lexus Stakes winner
Rule 5 Delete any horse whose last run in the Melbourne Cup was an unplaced run.
Rule 6 Delete any horse who is aged 3yo or 7yo or older.

The names of the runners left are the selections and the Group which most of the Cup winners have come from over the last 52 years.

Over this period at level stakes the System has maintained a healthy return.

Good Luck

Lol, went looking for that the other day.

The MacKinnon stakes isn't being run until after the cup from what I can see.

The Lexus is on Saturday and has automatic entry to the cup for the winner.

[h=3]The Lexus Stakes[/h]The 2016 Lexus Stakes (2500m) is a Group Three handicap held at Flemington on 29 October (Derby Day), the Saturday before the Melbourne Cup. Shocking was the last horse to complete the Lexus Stakes - Melbourne Cup double, winning both races in 2009. In the six years since Shocking's double, the Lexus winners have gone on to run 2nd, 8th, 4th, 23rd, 4th and most recently 7th with Excess Knowledge's creditable run.

I like Almandin ATM. This is the list of second acceptors which will change with possibly some dropping out and the possibility of the Lexus winner forcing their way in

I'm game again, we did this a while ago from memory haha.

R1: Coming through is my toppie. Nikitias or High Mist for a roughy
R2: Agreed. Throw in Almalita as a rough
R3: Chloe in Paris, Viddora
R4: Junoob
R5: Star Turn
R6: First Seal, Don't Doubt Mamma. Rising Romance could do something but that's more of a sentimental
R7: Agreed
R8: Like Mackintosh here.
R9: Dothraki, Ball of Muscle. Big fan of Counterattack in general though.

Good Luck all. No doubt this will change tomorrow depending how the track is running.

The Melb Cup System selects 4 horses as possible winners

Jameka , Has to establish a weight carrying record for a 4 year old mare

Pentathlon Was crushed by Oceanographer today

Exospheric Ran on nicely behind a dominant Jameka in the Caulfield cup and meets her better at the weights

Oceanographer Has to back up but looks hard to beat if he does.

A guy from work got on Oceanographer a while ago at triple figures. Apparently.

Illustrious Lad gave me a good win to finish off the day yesterday. Shiedel also a nice $$ maker. First Seal burnt me and so did Russian Revolution and Hey Doc.
