OK, back to it. The best thing about Karmichael Hunt is that he doesn't ever flirt with the sideline and just takes the ball straight up the middle. Usually makes just as much ground too as he just runs it back hard. No fancy pants bullshit in K's game, Billy saw a chance to be a glory boy and he took it. And Hammo and I were sitting right behind where it happened and we both said he was going to be taken over the sideline. Not to be outdone, HE THREW THE FRIGGEN WORLD CUP AWAY!!!!!

Bullshit Queenslander. It was 18-16 when Slater did his brain explosion. If he'd played it safe, got the ball into the Kiwi half during the set Australia would've been attacking. Instead, down 22-16 and full on playing catch up football.

And it wasn't his only **** up. He fumbled a kick on a return, he bombed a couple of tries by going himself or throwing wild crap passes a la Origin this year. He's an overrated piece of shit and totally showed how out of place he is at the highest level.

Lockyer was man of the match in a losing side. He was absolutely brilliant and Slater owes him the biggest fucking apology for ruining Locky's dream of captaining a world cup win. Monaghan too to a lesser extent.

Meninga's got the balance right at Origin level. Hunt to start at the back, do the all tough stuff and then let Slater capitalise when the team's on the front foot. [icon_wink
