Jeremy Smith went straight through a tired Civo and a yet again wrong footed Lockyer!!!!! Slater is a fullback, blaming him for that is like blaming a goalie in soccer...he's only last line! The best fullbacks can't stop a forwad running at them 1 metre out. That was all Civo-Lockyer.not to mention Lockyer's other missed tackle on Hohaia in the 2nd half

Lol i dont care tbh, i dont have a weird need to take attacks on a footy player personally like most of you lol. Go for it all you want, i just think its sad how much everyone is enjoying this, and blaming billy, when it was obviously a team effort to lose last night.

He was lucky with the first 1 he nearly blew it though didn't he!! As Coxy has said before all he has is pace he is not skillful at all. He played pretty well up until the moment which we must not speak of.

[icon_lol1. How many tries does he have to setup, line breaks does he have to assist before some people here realise that Slater has a lot more than just pace. He farked up big time, backed himself and it blew up in his face it has happened to a lot of great players on a lot of great occasions (take Tony Vidmar in last years A-League grand final as evidence of this). He will bounce back and continue to be the games best fullback. I nor anyone has claimed Slater to be as safe as Hunt but he creates and scores a lot more points than Hunt even when you take away the rare moment he hands the opposition points. In football you have to score more than your opponent and thats why I would take Slater 10 times out of 10.

So on that logic you must think sims threw away our season? We lost on the hooter in that match as opposed to the 14 against nz so its more black and white if we go by your logic. Im sure you will have some way to defend sims tho, and if not you one of the other ppl blaming slater will.
