Yeah at this point we need to offload Paix, Smoothy deserves a top 30 spot next year but it would be hard while still having Paix, unless your keeping a high potential youngster on your books like Mozer you can't afford a situation where your not playing your top 30 Hookers.

Depending on how much Paix is on, he can also be considered cheap halves depth as well though.

We already have Madden and Sailor, we can have a Development player be the depth after that.

He hasn't played half since 2019, you've spent four years making him a hooker. I doubt very much it would be possible now to go back.

Gotta love how his fans wait for him to have a field day before the posts like this come out. At least you don’t need to fall back on “BUt tHeRE waS LiTerAllY nOBoDy ElsE on ThE mArkEt” argument anymore. Haven’t heard that one in a while. We could win the gf and I’d still be right. Go billy! We should sack mozer next.
Sorry buddy but there's been plenty of us wrapping him for quite a while now.......

I like Rodgers....he's got a good kick .....yeah?

A big body too.......

So 2024 "halves" backup totals..... Smoothey and Mozer plus Madden and Rodgers.....Sailor.

Give Paix's coin to somebody else.

Was Billy’s performance last weekend the best Broncos 9 performance since Berrigan?

I think it might be… food for thought - Macca was consistent and solid, but his ceiling was a 7/10. Turpin just no. Nikorima might have had some good ones in attack but never the complete package. Anyone else have a take on this?

Ennis had some good games around maybe 2008, from memory he carved up the Knights one game that stands out.

Your point is valid though, hooker position has been a shit show for a long time including during the McCullough years…

Let's not get too carried away, Walters played well but it wasn't even in the same category as a Berrigan vs. Bulldogs 06. Before Blair obliterated his ACL, Macca had enough good games that would be on par and even Ben Hunt had a good stint there in the back end of his stay at the Broncos.

Either way, it's been a while :)

Segyaro had a few good games too from memory, as did Granville. PJ Marsh had some great performances

I'd have to go back and check. My recollection is that when Ennis came in there was a noticeable improvement and PJ lost his spot. Brisbane did win their opening three games that year and looked great early on so maybe I didn't give PJ the credit he deserved.
