It's the Avatar. It draws the eye.
That's a selfie.In case you were wondering.

It's official. Reyter is Bennett's ex-wife.
Nah it's usually bagging Wayne Bennett. Also having an opinion doesn't mean you can't be called out on it, especially if your opinions tend to be terrible and repetitive.
Anyway, I have heard there was a clause in the clubs favour after two years. Doesn't really seem like Bennett has put the club first if that is the case, does it?
He might be Ben Ikin though. What is your opinion on Ben, @Reyter
Usually wasn't the correct word to use, you're right. But you're also arguing semantics instead of the actual point which usually means what? All you have done over 216 posts is whinge about Bennett or try to imply that he is screwing the team over, or that his relationship with a player is weird. When is it ok to start questioning whether a poster adds anything to this forum? I'd say it's around about now, but unfortunately it isn't up to me.But am I still a Newcastle supporter?
It's usually Bennett? Only around 30min ago you stated 100% of my posts were dedicated to the same person. Excuse my ignorance but I was under the impression "usually" didn't mean 100%.
If there is indeed such a clause, you are right.I have never heard of it before now. Not here or in the media. What is your source? If there isn't such a clause would you agree something is amiss?
Hmmm good question. I don't watch so much TV but from what I have seen I couldn't really say I have a strong opinion of him one way or the other.

Regarding the clause, I have a few sources but why would I give them up? It's also been posted on here before by somebody else, but I don't think it fit the agenda of some so it was invisible. And I don't think he's being paid as much as made out and I am fairly sure that a fair chunk of that money is 3rd party agreements. So no, not really.
That view of Boyd (in bold) is so pink coloured, it has rainbow unicorns decorating it.Against the Storm he made 133 metres (= best, most of all backs). The game before he made 130 metres (second best back, 4th best in the team).
Thurston's game has deteriorated overall, he is a shadow of the player he once was. Boyd however has just been inconsistent - he has been playing to a high level, contributing positively, doing some fantastic stuff in almost every game, just not for the full duration of games. Whenever he does even one thing that people can claim is attributed for being lazy or disinterested or physically inept, a lot of people seem to just fixate on that, and act like that's how he's been playing for the entire game and/or season.
What's "weird" is faceless internet wombles who act quasi-homophobic about it.
Should it also be considered weird that Cameron Smith and Billy Slater have played all their football under the one coach and have barely entertained moving clubs??
That seems a long bow to draw. I actually think the relationship between Bennett and Boyd is fine in a personal sense, and it's no doubt helped Boyd immensely (yes, I'm aware of his personal issues).
I mean, in the middle of his career he was admitted to a mental institution. It's purely hypothetical Bennett "helped" him with personal issues. If Boyd had branched out more and been his own man, he may be a happier and socially charming individual or maybe he would be much worse than he is now.
If, or because, they have some personal relationship both value, that's great. I'm happy for both of them. But I find it a little weird for a grown man to follow the same boss all over the country. But I don't know about the financial are other extenuating circumstances so I may be wrong. It's just from the outside looking in, I find it a little weird.

That message wasn't critical of Boyd or Bennett. Other than that, you are essentially saying pretty much the same thing I am in regard to helping Boyd with personal issues. It's purely hypothetical.Maybe Bennett was the only one he trusted enough to listen to the advice that he needed professional help. He wanted to find his father too didn't he? And did? And that apparently helped.
What you've essentially said here. "Boyd might have been better off to not follow Bennett around, but he might not have been better off too". What's weird is your infatuation with being critical of Bennett.

@Harry Sack, you're up.
Best post of 2018.Lol, not going to waste my time.

Are you serious or just trying to provoke a reaction????? I think I may be in forum hell:whatwouldjareddo:.How is it hypothetical when the bloke himself has come out, numerous times, and stated that he follows him around because of the impact he's had on his life and career. It's not. It just doesn't suit the oddball thoughts and assumptions in your head.

To say Boyd has turned out better as a player and/or person due to being coached by Bennett his entire career is purely, 100% hypothetical! There isn’t any debate on the matter. Who knows how much better or worse he would have turned out of he had spread his wings a little more and been coached by someone else? We will never know because what’s done is done.
To say it’s a little weird (and note, “a little”. I don’t have a strong opinion on it one way or the other.) is purely my opinion and I’m entitled to it.
