You gotta think thats Manly season gone, he has been brilliant since he's come back and obvously an important part of that team.

Makes NSW selectors job a bit easier though, now they can pick Gidley at fullback, and then go with whatever useless halves combo they like.

Means Gidley will almost definatley be playing fullback now which is probably not a good thing for NSW imo.

NSW will benefit from having Gidley in their side period. He's all class. Would cause Qld all sorts of trouble in the halves though. More so than fullback.

Yeah watch out! He'll crab across the field, run out of room and put a kick into touch....

Um ok. LOLZ.

Gidley is a star player.
[icon_wink didn't you see when he came on last year in game 2? icon_thumbs_u [icon_lol1.

Gidley didn't come on to fullback last year though from memory. Didn't he come in to play a roving hooker type role?

He is a far more dangerous all round player than Stewart.

LOLZ. Thurston came back to form on Sunday, useless Sharks played him in. Hopefully he continues his revival.

[icon_lol1. I know, but needs to get the upperhand over cocky blewsers anyway we can. Having Stewart at 1 would be way better for QLD.

Did you see his first half? It was atrocious.
It's OK, you guys have Pearce.

Thats funny... Manly are screwed now, he scored 5 tries in his two games back.... [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

LOL, stewart is much better at fullback than gidley. NSW wouldve had gidley in the side as a utility so all this has done is take away a great player from their side. Now they will need a new utility. Weakens the side overall

don't worry, you don't have to say that kind of thing, NSW selectors don't actually read these boards icon_thumbs_u

Rounds 1-5 and first half of round 6 - past.
Second half of round 6 - most recent.

He's on his way back to form. Let's see if he backs up this week.

And LOLZ @ Queenslander. Stewart's not a better "player" than Gidley, he's a better tryscorer/finisher. Gidley will create far more opportunities and provide more support to whatever ratshit halves they pick than Stewart.

You only need to look at game 3 last year. New South Wales were so much better when Gidley was at fullback. When Stewart came on they had nothing.
