November 28th 2019 – Keenan Palasia tears his ACL at training, ruling him out for the rest of the season.

January 26th 2020 – Joe Ofahengaue is charged with a minor traffic infringement for an alcohol-related driving offence. Ofahengaue served a two game suspension as a result.

February 14th 2020 – Brisbane lose their opening game of the NRL 9s, 17-11 to the North Queensland Cowboys. Brisbane concede a 6-1 penalty count, the highest penalty margin of the entire tournament.
February 15th 2020 – Brisbane Broncos defeat Melbourne 12-8 but fail to qualify for the finals in the NRL 9s.
February 17th 2020 – Izaia Perese is charged by police for drug offences. Perese plead guilty to supplying a dangerous drug at Albion Creek last September.
February 19th 2020 – Matt Lodge suffers a partial tear to his ACL. The injury was set to sideline him until June, but he returned in May.

Brisbane struggled as the Warriors piled on 26 points in just over 40 minutes of football.

Scans later clear Corey Oates of the career debilitating injury revealing he had suffered a large haematoma and a deep gash to his leg. The injury still rules him out for an indefinite set of time.
July 20th 2020 – Jamayne’s father Taai Isaako passes away. Jamayne Isaako is granted permission to attend his funeral in New Zealand, ruling him out for an indefinite period.
