Broncoman's State of Origin thread of hope and despair

During the Ashes series I prayed before each test and each days play for some luck and guidance for the Australian team and the series resulted in a whitewash in our favor.

I'm trying it out on the Blues this year and began 2 days ago and will each day and during Origin.

Yes, I'm sure that if god existed, he would really care about influencing sports results according to which side prays better...
 
Even if god existed and actively tried to beat QLD, he still wouldn't be powerful enough.

Haha thanks, everyone who meets me say that I'm very dedicated and focused towards anything I do or aspire to do. It's been paying of very well atm, life has gone from good to great for me over the last 6 months or so.
 
It will be absolutely epic if Bird gets off the Queensland whinge will be priceless.

It wouldn't surprise me, just another one in a long list of NSW'kers getting off lightly vs. Qld'ers being severely punished around Origin time.

Yet most complain about the dirt tactics of Slater flying out with the studs, Myles head butting, Smith grapple tackle, Thiaday coming in with his manboobs and they are never called up for it ever?

Well it sucks he is out for game 1 and its a big blow but I feel it can be covered quite effectively.

It could've been a lot worse

Tuqiri, and I'm fine with Bird getting 2 weeks for his tackle I thought 6 weeks was a bit harsh.

Can someone explain to me how it was even remotely possible that Luke O'Donnell was not sent off for that passage of pure thuggery?

Same as big tough Gal punching Nate Myles out of the blue - how many times over how many games in the one series again?
 
I got punched by a QLD fan one time simply because my team won (this was a few days after Game 2 2011)
