NEWS Broncos investigating alleged Payne Haas-Albert Kelly brawl video

To some it's a nothing incident, but how many times are we going to let him embarrase this club with his shithouse behaviour. Just because he is a top tier player doesn't mean he should be allowed to get away with it.
Get away with what? You don't know anything about this.

Regardless of the rights or wrongs of filming the incident, Payne and Kelly have yet again dragged the Broncos name into the mud. Fine should be the least of their worries if we are serious about cleaning up this club.
I'm surprised you're not blaming Michael Chammas. He's the "slimy journalist" who did the dragging.

Hard to blame a journalist when he gets given a video of two idiots fighting in public.

The club regrets the incident, it's been handled in house as no member of the public was involved.

Do Melbourne suspend their players? Never. Neither should we unless we're forced.
Or use it as an excuse to **** off a contract.

It's time to make an example. I am so done with this shit. Suspend and fine Haas and sack Kelly. Gamble can come in to the 6 for the rest of the year.

This is where our new administration need to earn their big bucks.

They need to publicly call on the NRL to simultaneously condemn the player's actions, yet support clubs that make the hard stance on bad behaviour.

" We have been made aware that another team has been using 3rd party agents to attempt to lure one of our players in to requesting a release. This player knows that we will not be granting a release as they are still contracted with us for the next three (?) seasons, and it has been made clear that they will do whatever it takes to have their contract voided. We believe actions such as that shown in the recently released video is evidence of this deliberate behaviour.

We call on the NRL to stand with us on this issue. We will not be sacking the player in question over this incident as it was between two players and at no point was anyone else in danger. However, should this player be found to be involved in any further behaviour that is not consistent with the conduct expected of a professional NRL player, we implore the NRL to back us in our sacking of this player, and subsequently ban him from playing in the NRL until such time as his current contract would have expired ".

The club won't do shit. Even with out new administration we are still walked all over by the people that run this bullshit competition.

The Broncos should sign a trade deal with Salford and send the prick there for the remainder of his contract.

He doesn’t need to get away with it. He’s shown himself to be a bit of a flog. Take that into account when considering offering a prop $1m plus a season. Use him to get a actual player we need. No need to show our hand now.

Definitely better off getting someone like Munster for that kind of money. Or Walsh and a solid front rower.

Love it bro! It would be even better if they got the NRL's written agreement before announcing it. That said, the NRL is useless and as soon as the offseason roles around Haas is announced as going to the Roosters and the NRL will allow it because 'Haas has done everything asked of him and is a changed man.'

This is the problem with sacking him or anyone, the NRL will not support as they should unless the player walks out on the club SBW style. I reckon this is our best recourse unfortunately because it means Haas cannot play NRL for the next 3 years.

The other thing the club needs to do is sitting the playing group all down together and have a bootcamp of sorts, essentially air ALL of the dirty laundry privately first, give an anonymous survey and then address the issues anonymously in the group. The elephants in the room need to be addressed, this is NOT a team at present, it is bunch of selfish individuals all looking out for themselves.

No. Munster is just as much of a **** head and his misdemeanors would be more obvious in Brisbane.

Just when we thought we were past having dickheads in our club shit like this emerges and it probably explains the results recently too
