Keep it wihin the club...they know the history and are our 2 greatest players of all time
or 2 of the great broncos players of all time!

I think that would be a good move for the broncos...i think they would work well
together and the players would love to work for them

Personally I'm of the opinion we need to avoid at all costs the Canterbury, St George-Illawarra mentality of picking an ex-player from the club to coach. I'd have no problem with Henjak, with no playing history at the club.

I could tolerate Matterson, though his playing history (and as Leo points out, coaching credentials) concern me.

Daniel Anderson would be OK for an outsider.

Honestly, Henjak would be my pick.
Bruno will have to more quick.
Or he'll look like a dick.

team was really down on confidence.

I feel having alfie and kevvie as co coaches would benefit the club

Bruno is a dick already by putting everything towards bellamy when we should of had a serious crack at Henry as well.

I am stunned and can't come up with any names to replace the WB.

Kevvie was fired from the club in WB's famous clean-out.

The following season, Henjak was appointed and we won the premiership.

He's not an outsider. He's been the right-hand man for the past 2.5 years, and has had a great impact on the club.

And got sacked. It would be a terrible idea to give it to two people with no coaching experiance or leadership skills in that department.

Ummm...looking at Ricky Stuart's playing career I see a long stint at Canberra, and a short stint at Canterbury.

I see nothing about his involvement with the Roosters until they hired him from OUTSIDE as a coach...

Due to this disasterous news that bellamy is staying with the storm

I rekon Lockyer will ask for a release at the end of this season to join the super league
Followed by other great players in our club who will all leave possibly following WB
to the dragons or other NRL clubs.

What do I think? I think you're on crack.

Langer has no coachin experience and the experience Walters has is poor. As I think Russo said, they will be viewed and treated like 'one of the boys'. They will command no respect and the Broncos would be rubbish.

Henjak needs the job. I said to nashy before, Bellamy learnt his trade under Benny, who's to say Henjak won't be as successful?

I have more faith in him than any other candidate for coach at the moment. And honestly I am a little relieved Bellamy isn't coming, I would hate for the Broncos to pick up the dirty tactics he shamelessly uses at Melbourne. Fark him.

Henjack i dont mind and yes considering he has had 2 stints as
bennetts assistant coach the same that bellamy did then i wouldnt mind
having him as our coach for the long run.

I rekon that bellamy was never even interested in joining the broncos and
that it was only a tactic to get the storm board to bump up his pay which
is exactly what they did!

please please PLEASE not Daniel Anderson. I couldn't stand to see the TV screen showing his face in the coaches box. The Broncos will become your run-of-the-mill team with no tradition when we start pulling in randoms who've coached all over the place. I would be fine with Henjak, Matterson, Kevvie... Just not some 'career' coach who's been anywhere and everywhere and would not be able to appreciate the culture that the Broncos have created.

Mal doesn't really coach, he motivates the team. The real coach for QLD these last two years was Neil Henry.

Mal Meninga would be a great option IMO. The question is does he coach tactics or passion?? We all know he has done wonders with the Maroons but would he be able to translate this into the NRL?
