Broncos most improved player...

Yeh I would have to agree with most people's sentiments and say Boyd. He doesnt leak many points, he knows when to take the line on in attack and when to draw/pass. He is also becoming good at rucking it out of our own area.

Eastwood, Kemp and Kenny are also up there but havent quite done enough to pip Boyd.

Ennis has improved because he has become an 80 minute player, something he didnt do at the Knights or the Dragons. He has also shown what he is capable of, which I guess you can say is an improvement on the years previous with us.

Boyd....could this thread give The Rock a bigger fat??

Ennis...pffft, can't wait to this kid is gone.

Boyd may have improved but he is still shyte.

In your opinion

I'd say Boyd is the standout this year .. he's really sorted out a few areas in his game that were really lacking last season.

I hope we keep him too [icon_pray.

Boyd has been in our top 5 players for sure this year. So awesome that he has proven the doubters wrong icon_thumbs_u

Definitely Boyd, i was his biggest critic but he has turned it all around and morphed himself into a solid first grader this year.

Good on the kid

Top 5 players this year isn't hard considering how bad some Broncos have been playing.
Even then he wouldn't he come close to the top 5.

1. Ennis
2. Wallace
3. Daylight
4. Hunt
5. Eastwood

I'll wet my panties if he leaves the Broncos at the end of year.

In no order, I'd have Boyd, Hunt, Thaiday, Ennis and Wallace.

Huh?

Yes I didn't type that clearly. What I meant was;

Boyd is my selection.

All this talk of Ennis as most imporved....could that said talk give The Rock a bigger fat.....seeing how you rate him above all else on this planet, barring Steve Price

What's with the name calling you dickhead? [icon_drun
Just because I don't rate Boyd, no need to call me an idiot.
Tank doesn't rate Hunt, read up you clown. Hunt is in my top 5 players from the Broncos this year.

Boyd is a fine winger, but against quality defence, he's nigh on ineffective as a centre.

I'd rather see Hoffman get a go in the centres, and certainly NEVER NEVER AGAIN SEE STAGG IN THE BACKS.

Hoffman would be rabble in the centres. Why play an 18 year old out of position ??

Maybe for the same reason Stagg is played out of position?

Anyway - how do you know - Hoffman might turn out to be a fine centre. At least give him a go.

All our centres this year except Hodges and Michaels, and on 1 or 2 occasions, Moon, have been crap.

Yeah Stagg needs to get out of the centres. The thing is, when your team is struggling for set plays and struggling to put the ball through the hands due to good defence, it's always handy to have players who can can simply take the ball flat footed and maybe create something with a good step, a bit of strength and a bit of skill - Stagg has none of that. Moon does though, It would make sense to move him in there until Hodges returns.

I'd be happy with Moon, but I still would be curious to see how Hoffman would cut it at centre.

He'd struggle physically at this stage in his career. If you're looking for a youngster it'd make more sense to promote someone like Beale, Tupou or Glenn, they'd be more comfortable playing at centre.
